Short answer: yes they work.
Long answer: the extra honor point show up in your gran total in the shop, but not in the weekly limit.

I had this come up when I summoned one back on the first of the month. The people who hit it after you make it public get a damage bonus also.

They need to either remove the cooldown for summoning, or reduce it. ESPECIALLY for events that they want us to spend money on hitting, like Meteorite...Leave a comment:
