  • Generals and Tweaks

I was taking a look in the forum and generals list today and i see there are many that have pointed to some useful tweaks about some generals.
Now that devs are back is nice to open this discussion again.
There are 4 generals that must have their abilities changed a little to make their gameplay useful without being game breaks.

    1. Shivak : As many have pointed pls change his ability of percentage health when fortituding to be applied in both base health + health rune. That would make him useful and a potential buy for clerics.
    2. Hermodr : Similar with Shivak, pls change his ability of ww reduction to be applied in the total hit (base damage + damage rune) and not just base damage.
    3. Caine : Pls make his ability scale, that would make him a very useful monster hunting general.
    4. Tyxeros : The same as Caine, pls make him his ability scale so even small damage runes can achieve some lucky high damage hits.

PS: Feel free to add any other general that needs tweak to be useful.

I would love to see Deshara scale, she use to do the most damage before runes came into play..

Corvintheus should also scale and have a secondary skill that is useful being a demi god and all..

If Tyxeros' ability worked on total damage instead of Base he could be interesting, particularly in conjunction with Berserk.

Yep yep, I'd love a Deshara update. Even if it involved making her +16% to rouge damage and 1% increase every 3 levels (just like Muse for Rogues, even 8% and give her a big sister or brother). For a Rogue with a 500 damage rune that would require Deshara to be level 16 for her to be back to +40 damage but then she increases 2 damage per 3 levels so an extra 50 damage (on top of what she does now) when 5 star level 80. Not game breaking but gives people something to work towards and brings in a little revenue for the game.

Other than that. Karn and other +attack generals that have a cool down period would be interesting if they more closely followed the Monster Attack generals. Maybe not 30 attack per level. 10-15 extra attack for one hit would be very useful in the right situation and again. Not really game breaking in the light of Enrage and DF. (Could even be an increase in Pierce for your next attack.)

          Hey guys.

Ganna fix some of the heroes.

Shivak: He already does what you want him to do. He % multiplies the base fortitude roll (40 to 100) plus the targets health rune bonus.
Thus, if the target you fortify, rolls 50 base, and has +1000 health rune, Shivak multiplies 1050 x 60% (or whatever his fortitude % number is based on hero level).

Can you guys explain why this isn't the case? In Testing, this is already exactly what he does.

Yes, Shivak and Fortitude works exactly as Padaxan has stated. The lower your target's health rune the smaller the amount that Fortitude gives the target to max and current health.

Shivak's percentage does not include health rune benefit. If my health rune is 890 and fortitude base, adds 60 to my health rune = 950 and Shivak bonus adds 70% to Fortitude ability then please explain why I am only getting between 980 - 1005 Fortitude? Thus. Fortitude with Shivak does not include health rune benefit. Shivak is only increasing the % to the base Fortitude and not increaseing the % to both base and health rune. If it was, I should be getting around 1462 Fortitude with Shivak.

Padaxan, could you please take a look on Deshara? Maybe make her ability scales with level?

Take off your health rune, have someone cast fortitude on you and compare it to fortitude cast on you when you have your health rune on.

I have done this numerous times, all in a different era because this is how long this problem has existed.

Padaxan believes Shivak's ability is working as it is intended, to also include the health rune and I can categorically state right now that is not. I play cleric ALL the time and Fort a lot in tough battles and I am telling everyone here right now, that if Shivak is meant to be increase % of both base and health rune then sorry, 1005 is not including health rune benefit increase in %.

                    70% of 950 = 665.

Fort Ability with Shivak bonus calculation should be 950 + 665 = 1615 <--- I should be getting this total.

But I am not, I am only getting as already stated, between 980 and 1005. Only the base Fort is getting the boost from Shivak.

That's right. the health rune adjustment has to be from the health rune on the target, not from the health rune on the toon casting the fortitude. working as intended.

                        No it is not.

If I am casting Fort on myself then I should still be getting 1615 from a 70% boost of 950.

Thus, I shall say it again. Percentage increase of Shivak, is not including health rune regardless of who casted it or who it was casted on.

Try casting fortitude on yourself without Shivak equipped and compare the results.

We have tested it multiple times TvR it's working as intended we also casted the skill on our self to confirm , the skill is working and including the health rune it does not however multiple the effect x 10, maybe this is where the confusion is?

Yes, when you cast Fort with Shivak, it includes base roll + Health rune + base roll % increase from shivak. The health rune is being totally bypassed in the % increase.

I do believe this is what the Original poster was asking for. That when fort is cast when Shivak is equipped, the % bonus from the general gives the boost to both base roll and health rune. As of right now, Shivak only boosts the % of the base roll increase, not the added on health rune of target which makes it an ridiculously weak Cleric power as it stands right now.
