  • Upgrading Generals

I would like to upgrade my generals! I don't mind having to use specific ones for certain quests or whatever, but after a while you just put the most powerful general as your main one and that's that. Maybe in addition to making dragons you can do some ritual that beefs up existing generals. I miss Dragan.

this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! The more quests you do in the different lands you can buy better generals, you can also use favor points to gamble generals from the treasure chest.

There must be something missing in your question cuz it makes no sense...

I think for quest-wise, it's fine using different generals. But what do you mean by upgrading the generals? Are you suggesting that they be stronger? And rituals?.....

And Dragan's still there. Plus this really ought to be in the suggestions topic.
      Listen to my story...

I thought I DID post it in suggestions. I even checked there looking for this so I assume it was a huge gaping lapse of thought for me. How embarrassing! D: Oh well, instead of pleading to higher ups we can make it a general discussion thread or something.

I plan on using Dragan again but he's such a weak little kitten right now. I guess he's just mooching off me at my castle and getting wussy while I'm out fighting. I just wish I could beef him up is all.

You are still talking nonsense... you think dragan is cute or something? LOL

YOU GET BETTER GENERALS AS YOU FINISH QUESTS IN OTHER LANDS!

It doesn't matter which general is active on your screen when someone attacks you. it only matters when you start a quest. When you're attacked their best army is pitted against your best army and the best math wins. When you start a quest you need to have the general in the picture equipped or you don't get credit for "influence" in the quest you just get the gold and xp.

Get it??? God, I hope so!

            I understand the concept

What she is saying to be like Vampire Wars or Pirates of the Caribean. You can upgrade your items skills and loot by spending money (game gold). Each time you buy an upgrade it goes up 10% you can only upgrade once a day and once it's 100% you have completed level 1 and the attack and defence of that item, skill or loot goes up. as you progress through the levels a low item can become a greater item through the daily purchase of upgrades.
            Understand?

It is you that doesn't understand ... or read

There is no upgrading here... you just move on. That's it. end of story. go play pirates now.

Okay I seriously think YOU are the one that doesn't understand. Yes I know they can't be upgraded, I say this in MY FIRST POST, then again in MY SECOND POST. Then this guy says they upgrade in Pirates which implies they do not upgrade here which is also UNDERSTANDING WHAT YOU POSTED. I don't like to be rude but honestly you already have been, so here: go back to school and get some reading comprehension and then let's discuss some generals, okay?

Also yeah I think Dragan is cute, I think he's mega-cute. I also think we should have some male fanservice in addition but that's bringing it back to suggestions. Also, the new art for Strider rocks!

I think shes trying to say that even with favor points, there is a finite number of generals one can have. The best being meph and once you have him, that's it. She is suggesting to select your own favorite general and level him/her up. I love the idea since the stats of an archangel is > meph . Now THAT makes no sense. And for the arguement that eg. dragan will eventually be greater than meph, well, you would have to put in the effort and time for that to happen first.
"When she saw such an image on the computer screen it caused her to ask a question. I didn’t think anything of it at first, but as I prayed about it and was able to mentally go through all the images of the female characters in the game I realized the there had been a shift. Fanciful characters with traits like blue skin and hair where being replaced with those of a more Anglo or Caucasian decent, with large busts and very scantily clad."

I understand what your saying stridersgirlfriend . Unfortunately you are using a vivid imagination formed by an independant mind which for some here is a foreign language. What is strange is why dont you send your boyfriend out on battles ? are you keeping him too busy or is he just not up to it ? . On the same point my wife does not like Vanquish cos she says she looks too evil n such so i think being able to pick your own general is good idea and give them the stats you require. On another point i like recycling but it is strange that the bosses you fight after the quests can be used as your own generals !! personally i wouldnt trust em if you turn traitor once etc etc etc . Anyway better hide dragan in the cupboard cos i think striders home.

Haha! Thank you both for your responses! This is exactly what I was getting at.

As for sending him out, I guess he's the houseboyfriend and takes care of my keep and all the money collection. I thought Strider looked like a geek before but his new art makes him look cute, and Dragan's makes him even cuter! (this is why i like the new artwork)

I figure once I clear all the missions I will get Dragan back as my main general!

                        Generals

There are some things about the generals i dont understand and I wonder is there somewhere you could read up on them. for instance I had opheila from the start and although her defense is weak her attack is as good as vanquish.there have been times that I have dueled with vanquish and lost changed to ophelia and won next three attacks.I bought some favor points to give back i have had hours of fun playing and I wanted to help support those taht work so hard to provide that fun,and i have noticed the same thing.I might lose with say the orc king and switch to a weaker general or one I have with same attack and win.
Its hard to really get a chance to see I never "chain" unless they do that to me and I generally strike back to see what they used to see what works. But I dont really think thats accurate either.lets face it if you are lvl 140 with 501 members attacking my 335 man lvl 85 army how good are you? and people that attack me once or twice and go on well I dont want to attack them.regardless of lvl they are what I myself consider to be a good player.Dueling works and you can be high level with few members but people like me that fight back catch you up and if you hit me 8 times for 4 battle points Ill hit you 8 times for 10 every time.I have no problem with that if its you style not agaist the rules but Im not impressed with players that attack people 40+ lvls lower with smaller armys.where's the skill involved where's the challenge? knock your self out but i dont want you in my army.on those rare occasions when i do attack amaller numbers I always duel and if they win it stands, they deserve the points.anyway if there is in depth information on generals would you be so kind as to tell me where to find it? Blak
