  • The ushering in of the Fourth Age...

And so in the land of Valeria mortal men became hero’s and learned the ways of the demi-gods, harnessing the mighty power of the dragons and beasts of the underworld.

✨Welcome my kings and queens to a knowledge of the fourth age✨

Castle Age has evolved and we have evolved with it. Moreover, those who’ve dwelt in Valeria from the beginning have become mighty warriors indeed, juggernauts with mithril shields made of the most secret magic.

And now, I will endeavor to present you with the next build designs that will dazzle us all, and ultimately push Gaia, or whomever holds the keys of power, to create ever stronger monsters and magic to keep up with the future.

    From the beginning:

In the First Age, we had the pvper, and players battled for domination in the land. All that mattered was attack power and defense. Minimal energy and stamina were typical. Having high health was a curse.

The Second Age, showed us the monster hunter. And in this time period, pvpers and monster hunters fought for the top tiers of power; as well, others became hybrids; a combination of both pvper and monster hunter, we also saw still others journey throughout and beyond the land of Valeria having no real desire for battle, these were called questers. For they loved adventure.

The second age ended. Warriors became organized in guilds and thus began to rule kingdoms; and many great hero’s fell. Fury fell. Legends fell. The Moonprince was vanquished and Killer Pooh was defeated. However, others from the first age have remained such as ones like Mursilis, who’s great wall strength at his level remain unmatched, even many hundreds of levels above him.

In this third age it has also been revealed in the land there be even greater lords, the likes of which in the second age were merely myth. And the lord, Ahman, was ridiculed to scorn, for it was blasphemous to mention even in whispers the coming of the superpvpers. Therefore, he was banished for a time.

And the third age has continued to fly upon the wings of time, and the land of Valeria is now full of such magnificent beings. The greatest kingdom of these currently call themselves Redemption.

Rune powers, pierce, resistance, alliance and 6* generals, chaos gems, IA, and harnessing the powers of the very elements have brought us to the fourth age.

    The Fourth Age soon cometh...

In this age, those who will dominate the land shall be those players who possess builds like this...

    Level 3000 - 3500 and above

    Energy 3152
    Stamina 4209
    Attack 10234 (6387)
    Defense 8078 (7023)
    Health 1091 (1154)

Even at such high levels these builds are designed to level fast. They are currently not typical. Yet I predict more lands will be discovered for questing, even as in the days of old when rumors were plentiful that the current final land would be the last one to come. More land will come, opening up the option to sp hunt and build accordingly.

Like a butterfly many splendid warriors are in their cocoon state atm, and will in time begin to emerge dominating Valeria without restraint. The fourth age is almost here and when it commences it will last for a decade.

In the coming years these players will become typical, even as the superpvper is now, above the superpvper exists the fourth age build; the demi-god build.

The age of refill caps being adequate is long over. The fourth age is upon us my kings and queens. Prepare yourself for battle!!

      good read.
      slow clap.

for a lvl 3k to work 10k stam and 4/5k attack would suit better. and 8k energy while 3k def would also fulfil all his needs

nicely written.....But I doubt you were banished and by your logic....murs is no longer relevant (which is false I have seen him bounce level 3000s....)

I would hope Mursilis doesn’t think that I think he’s irrelevant. Infact it’s quite the opposite. Coincidentally, anyone who’s been playing or plays the game long enough knows who he is; and how impenetrable his “Wall” is, easily one of the greatest built in the whole game. 😎👍🏼

Nevertheless, I’ve heard Mursilis even himself casually lament the limitations of his build.

Just as I said concerning the coming of the superpvper, this new build will also come; game dynamics and how CA has evolved is more than open to it. Actually you should be happy. Your own build very much falls into the future of where CA dominant builds will be (high level, fast leveling builds). IMHO.

You may be correct. I myself will be pushing my (e/s_to_4.5k/4.5k) and leaving it there, that’s my predetermined personal build goal, which should serve me well through the rest of my CA lifetime.

I don't know how you started out your build....so I have no idea whether you are transitioning or not....but if you ever need to lab to see where you are....hit me up...the least I can do is bounce for you...

As for murs, his shortcoming that I have identified is that he will probably never hit shadows, or chromus or anything like that...so he will eventually plateau which is still a very very high ceiling....and the possibility of power levelers reaching that level is a long long time......

Agree on all points. And yeah in the future I could benefit from a sparing partner. 🙂👌🏼

As for this build being many years away, I’m not so sure, all it will take is for the current superpvper to consider this, and when the next quest land comes dump all sp’s into energy/stam, and begin to make the transition within their toon. Had I not retired for a time, my build would look a lot like Wims. But I think it was good, looking back that I stopped playing, all those sp’s will now, first go into energy/stam, and then att/def. Looking at my sig you can see I’m making that transition now. With some $ here and there, I’m less than two years away from my e/s/h goals.

High lvl, high energy, high stam, high att/def, high health = fast leveling superpvper = demi-god build. <<< the future

                  Ambitious for level 3000–3500

Granted, that A+D and full BIS equipment with legendary chaos gems (as can be expected of someone on that level) is enough to break my sorry level 2600 defense. From just 1400 levels above. So it's not too sorry a build

This is the 2nd time quest reset has come up in this thread. Personally speaking, I don’t think a quest reset will be required to achieve these numbers. Granted, we will need new lands to quest for sp’s, as well we are still a few years off for the dedicated playerbase to see the viable option in a build like this, yet, if we look at conquest paths and the ever greater dmg needed for legendary on monsters like Chromus, this build is the natural evolution for acquiring a super strong and agile build. Elandal, can you imagine a monster with 5 to 10 billion health with 600 pierce resistance. I believe they are coming one day, and at the present time only the greatest of us would even able to take them on.

go slightly higher for stamina, you may want to be able to kill a chromus at 15% hp for hard campaign quest at level up from 0% bonus.
at 50% bonus 3k or less stamina can deal 300k+ dmg, at 0% bonus it is a different story.

No. I just returned to the game in Dec 2017, I have a lot of work ahead of me to build my IA up. 😮
Currently 85% of my att/def is from raw stats, meaning when my IA gets pushed into healthy standards, my bsi will rise by a nice margin. 💪🏼
All my sp questing is finished til new lands become available.

This would be a fair suggestion. But with 4.5k stam + 1 refill it would get the job done I believe, assuming my pierce is up to spec, which currently it is not. 😄

Granted, we will need new lands to quest for sp’s, as well we are still a few years off for the dedicated playerbase to see the viable option in a build like this
Based on SP Sources I'd say it's three years and seven new quest areas away. Would be nice to see that happening, but given we haven't had a single new meaningful source of sps for several years (since 2014, or maybe some sp was added to paths in early 2015 still) it's hard to find optimism for this.

Elandal, can you imagine a monster with 5 to 10 billion health with 600 pierce resistance. I believe they are coming one day, and at the present time only the greatest of us would even able to take them on.
Actually, I'm not really seeing that as natural evolution. It has some 7ksp extra (over refill caps) in E&S. Saves some 3–4 refills per level. But leveling at speeds that actually take you to level 3k+ means refilling. Assuming going LSI first, you'd get easy time to some level 2k'ish (25k xp tnl, 4kstam=8800 + 3kene=3900 (excavate), 5-6 refills to level) but already at level 3k you'd need 11 refills to level. And the refills needed will just keep going up, making me wonder how much was saving 3–4 refills per level really worth when it means 1400 levels worth of sp not in A+D…?

The way I see it, going warpspeed at first means you'll find a time at which point all relevant PVE content has been exhausted and new PVE content is not expected, so you can move fully towards pvp stats then known your leveling speed will slow down over time or refills needed to keep it up will keep growing. That is, you pick a time in the game to which you anchor yourself, achieve all PVE and will give up any further PVE that might be coming, in order to grow PVP ability that will be significantly behind that of pvp'ers around your level.

Sure hybrid way of starting as LSI and then moving towards hybrid is possible. But obviously will never give you pvp ability to match anyone who's actually gone pvp from any earlier point while spending enough more to be around your level.

I guess the age of super pvp'er will be coming in a few more years, just like it always has been… Just like commercial nuclear fusion, just a few years from now

According to a note on the wiki the last quest land was added in October 2013. Good luck getting new ones.
