Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.

- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam

- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ‘sock puppet’ accounts – multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator’s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

So there's a promo of the kind that has been asked: scales by your purchase, so can buy small amount get something small, buy large pack get lots.

120FP looks OK, above that not really meaningful. Nax is prize general not worth using anyway like most other Arena EV gens. And now Nax is actually free for those who do purchase more FP anyway. This is different from eg. Odin in that you have to spend FP -> stam to get Odin, while here you just purchase FP and you get Nax along.

"Better" is in the eye of the beholder. I'll gladly trade the SPs and GCs for red and green crystals, especially the GCs.

I cannot even deal anymore. I am so on board with a scaling promo (I don't buy them anyway), but the value of this scale compared to previous promos at the 120 FP level seems horribly undervalued. Collectors who didn't/couldn't get Nax before will be glad I guess, but I wonder if you've pissed off those who spent during Arena to get him, thereby offsetting any gains there. But that's wittle squibblies compared to the bigger issue.

I have never played a game that passed off a holiday as a cash grab opportunity. Other games do their cash grabbing year-round, for sure. But when there's a reason to actually give players a little perk, like a New Year's boost or a Summer festival or a Holiday giveaway or whatever, most games simply give away the goodies to keep their players happy and coming back for more. This is when I log into almost any other game and get a "We're thankful you are playing our game! To show our thanks, here are extra perks for you at no charge! Have a great holiday!" kind of message. Not CA, nope definitely not.

I don't know their sales figures. Maybe they're on total life support at this point and need every excuse to milk money out of players, and they decided that Thanksgiving was a good name for a promo. But what, exactly, are we supposed to be thankful for? And who should be thankful? Certainly not the players.... We have no reason to be thankful for a promo that would have come out anyway, regardless of the calendar and the holiday many of us are celebrating. And there's not a ton in the promo in the means of content to be thankful for... if they had used Thanksgiving as an excuse to give away a real boon of goodies, that'd be one thing.

No, the only people I can see being thankful for this promo are the Devs, because they still have suckers determined to spend money on this game. They are thankful that many players are so happy to be parted with their money, no matter what the poor excuse may be.

I really do still enjoy playing CA, and coming to buttslap it on the Forum is not what I want to do, especially the day before Thanksgiving. But this is just unacceptable. I would rather the Devs had done nothing to "commemorate" the holiday than try to pass off this redheaded stepchild of a "Thanksgiving" promo. Be better, Devs.

Everything we have seen from GAEA this entire year says "Buy our worthless crap and buy it now"

Time to stop calling them developers and start calling them the IRS. Only the IRS can take money from 100% of your paychecks and then once per year tell you they didn't take enough all year so you owe them more.

I am unimpressed. Phoenix Age and Kabam wanted our money too but they were never this bad.

Call me an idiot (I present my 2 star Monkey King as proof) for trying to play along but I am done now.

Hopefully everyone realizes that you need to actually enter the promo's screen to claim your prizes after making your purchases, or you'll miss them, much like the Treasure Island chests.

As much as I can agree that certain things should remain as limited as they started out with, I'm not expecting any outrage.
Odin is up for grabs twice a day, I recall Succubus being given in Treasure island?
If outrage was going to happen it would already have happened.
I quite literally have seen one or two people voice that they were annoyed and that was just before they bought more FP to get extra copies of Odin.

That said, I like this promo.
Granted, the prizes may not be quite there yet, which is what I told GB as well.
The setup however I think is a good one.
It allows anyone a chance to get something from low to heavy spenders.
Even better, it allows people to buy more prizes if they change their minds on how much they were willing to spend.
I honestly hope that -all- the coming promos will be like this current one.

Eventually they'll get to Eternal Alystra.
I wonder if they make Gabrielle available too when they've ran out of EV prize generals…? And after that, what'd be next?

I haven't looked very closely at the value/fp for this promo, but to me this is no different than other promos. Extra things for people who purchase FP.

I remember being slightly outraged about them selling SP way back when we first got promos, but I'm used to it by now.

Well, let's hope Arena won't require a FP purchase to join
