Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing – The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you’re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

SET RULES

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don’t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like “you people.”
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not “flame”, “troll.” or “haze”.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don’t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don’t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ‘sock puppet’ accounts – multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator’s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

      that is self serving elitist thinking. you think other people who also spend money do not agree with your choice of what is best is wrong? what is best depend on each individual perspective and strategy, and less to do with spending power.

        Coming from the guy who made the last poll.... there really is now rules to making these polls. I think most people put up the best versions of the generals that our out there with identical abilities. I dont think it was a fail on the OP for not including Kaiser (Fyi I use kaiser not dolomar). Right now we are voting in larger categories of generals than splitting hairs over which critical chance monster to vote for. Notice no one suggested Slayer as the next hero. I am not saying kaiser should never get a 6th star but i am saying it makes more sense for dolomar (as the best version) to get the honor first.

          I took generals from last poll, excluded warrior generals as that class got one already, added Dolomar that was mentioned a few times in comments of the thread.
          If we could make polls with 20 items, maybe Kaiser could've been fit as well… Anyway, it has Other option there. So you may well post to the thread listing Kaiser as your choice

            I am not sure for that part you meant me or yourself. I never make these 6* general polls. I think it was you who made the last poll for Meekah, and before then, I am not sure who made the poll for Barbarus. What I did suggest on previous thread, as well as to Castle Age guy, was to try to give Oracle shop the ability to buy copies for all generals up to 6 stars. I think that would be a lot more fair for most people then these exclusive limited timing event. The devs would also make money that way. I doubt the sell for Meekah is that successful this time. Even some warrior class players admit to the increment in stat for Meekah is not worth the purchase. Hence, the 3 potions incentive along side with 6 copies of Meekah this time around.

            Sorry Elandal, I did not mean to be harsh on words with you. I just do not like the system we have now. With regards to the devs, we know that they spend much less time on any development or improvement of this game. Therefore, any minor change sways in one direction for a small exclusive group would only add more unbalance to the game, further drive what is left of the dwindling few who remains. Thus, we need to be careful how we put up these polls, because when the devs do peek in, when it serves their economic interests, they will just grab whatever end results of from the poll without giving a second thought.

              Isn't that great from the player point of view? Whatever most of us want we get?

              But really, I do expect these 6* promos to keep running for a while, maybe a year. But eventually would guess Oracle Favor general purchase cap to be increased from 12 to 20 (either across the board or for a large set of generals depending on if any issues are expected with some generals). And promos then on going for 7*.

              And I don't even see any problems with that. Nope, not everyone can get their favourite general promoted now. Nope, not everyone will have FP available during promo period. Either you buy when available or you wait until more general availability later, or a new round of promos.

                  I say Dolomar first
                  then in the following promo, one of each of the other class gens in on big shot (Rogue, Mage and Cleric) as to even out the classes.

                    There's no reason they can't offer all generals with a similar ability at the same time. Put Dolomar, Kaiser, and Slayer on the banner. When you click, you just get the 3 corresponding red buttons giving you the choice of which one you want. After you pick one, banner disappears.

                        Right and we should get quest to a level beyond the current 4, less we forget that once Generals only levelled to 4 so do the same for quest so we can have skill points to play the game

                          No, it is not b/c the forum is not a good representation of your "most of us", nor it is the majority of the CA population. This forum is at best a very small subset of the overall CA community. That is why I said to be careful in what is posted here not to be construe as the representation for the community. The few, like yourself, who still frequent this forum can misuse the poll and made the devs, as well as some others, to think the poll speak for everyone.

                              To me the most important thing is to know what the gain in stats and skills will be. I.e. for Meekah, if I had known that the gain was only +92 A/D and nothing for confidence, I would have thought a much longer time before buying the promo... Which was the first one and will be the last one that I buy, by the way...
