  • long rant about being 100+ lvl player

ok i dunno if anyone else will agree with me here but i feel like i just need to rant.

I love this game so much but with so much new improvements to the game, I feel that it's a bit unfair for those who have been playing it for some time now. when i battle dragons i see most of the people helping are low levels. but yet it doesnt matter that they're low levels because what matters is the high stamina. and because they start out late they can use all their skill points for stamina. which so so unfair because before all this battle ranks and dragons thing came out i was busy pumping energy and attack and defense. and now fighthing dragons doesn't even matter if i have high attack or defense coz i have a friend who has 1 attack and 1 defense but really high stamina and is getting the highest damage when battling dragons.

and what's the point of even getting these great items that increase our attack and defense when it doesnt matter how much att/def we have when fighting dragons? plus the dragons give 1 damage each time.

and people who start playing this game later get stuff like helena's memento. like just a loot drop. where's MY helena's memento?? i want one too!

and also people who have been playing this longer would probably have an army full of phoenixes/knight heroes/archangels. and when the demi quests start dropping soldiers it's so sad coz these soldiers are pretty crap and it doesnt matter if i have them or not since i have better soldiers anyway. and the introduction of getting gifts (eg gift dragon) was also after i have much better soldiers. and now!! the dragon battle rewards include even MORE useless soldiers.

see now, if i'm still level 20 or something then i'd be so grateful with all these soldiers. but i'm not and i feel so sad that i can't ever use them.

oh and another thing, it'd be nice if there are more rewards if we collect more demi points. the dragon battles are giving more demi points for demi gods i've already cleared.

anyway i know all these are great improvements to the game, and it keeps me going. but i feel that newer players have it so much easier! i hope the devs will give some sort of reward for people who have stuck with them. i'm loyal and play this game religiously everyday and it'd be nice if they were to give like a loyalty reward or something. haha. maybe for people who are above level 100? i dunnoe. or something.

as for the dragons part, i guess that's still new and in development. but i hope it'll change. at least then i'll feel better about having low stamina and pumping att/def instead.

i agree, even being new, in the start i was using my points for attack, defense and health, with the dragons there is no difference in my attacks than a level 5 player, other than i get bout 100k in gold where he may only get 100 gold. the damage is the same...very strange to me??

I'm in the 100+ section - and I have no problem at all.
If you're low on stamina, just go get Azeron blessings.
Invest the next few skill points into stamina.
You level quicker now, so it's not too bad.

Also, I noticed that higher attack skills makes more damage - so it's not all for nothing.

As for the soldiers... you don't need them any more, so it doesn't matter that you get them. But why can't you feel for the new beginners? Yes, maybe they make it a bit easier for them, but once they get thrown into the 80 + pot there will be even more higher level players attacking them constantly. So why not help them a bit to start with? Plus, by the time they reach your level, they'll have the same better soldiers that you have and don't need all those soldiers any more. What's the problem?

well because i've already gotten blade of vengeance that's why i'm not paying tribute to azeron anymore. but yeah i am putting my skill points slowly into stamina now.

about the higher attack skills means more damage, like i said i have a friend who's a new player and he has 1 attack and 1 defense but 30 stamina but each hit is about the same as mine.

about the soldiers yeah that's true and i do appreciate the improvements. i'm just saying i wish we could've gotten that too.

well said! All the dragon questers will eventually have to atone for having 90-120 stamina and crap att/def. In the long run you'll be 100x stronger and more versatile at playing while they will be stuck with questing/dragon killing only.

I agree to an extent. The damage bonus for attack points is too minimal to even state "your damage has to do with your attack stat". Its false advertising at its greatest.

Added to the list of non-practical ideas
Level 1 characters dealing the same damage as a lvl 100
Your equipment has no bearing on your damage to dragon
Your army has nothing to do with damage to dragon
Your equipped General has nothing to do with damage to dragon

Dragon hits you for 0-3 hp. A mosquito would irritate me more

yeah don't forget magic as well. haha.

and the dragons are so big, scary, and hard to kill. what's with the lame damage that they deal? it'd be pretty cool if they attack better. red dragons should deal more damage than emerald ones of course. would be more challenging. at least people who have been pumping health can put it to use? (though i'm not one of these people)

Well, cosnidering dragons are only 16/14 and I'm 256/250 I should be kicking its butt with little damage.

But you won't want to attack them because they'll have no battle rank.

Emm, then alot of people will use dragons as a way to go down to below 10 health?

if they are foolish enough to go all out for stamina to fight dragons... I say easy pickens off the fightlist. A/d is where its at.

< shrug > I'm a level 107 player. When I first started playing I put all my points into energy to do the quests and focused on buying properties to have a stable base for wealth accumulation. Then I started getting my ass kicked on the battle page and began to pump my points into attack/defense. I had reached Champion status prior to the Dragon release. At that time my stamina was at 15 and my attack/defense were both over 150 each and my energy was around 270 or so. When the dragons were released I began to immediately put all my points into stamina.

My stamina is now at 59, attack is at 180, defense is at 163, energy is at 346. I'm now working to increase battle rank and fighting dragons which means I will probably continue to boost my stamina up to around 90 or so.

As to dragon loot ... I have also found all the soldiers dropped to be useless as for my army of 177 I have 160 Knight Heroes and enough Phoenix to cover the rest. But the other loot is very nice - favor points, magic (wolf spirit, holy shield, lightning bolt, greater fireball) and items (elven plate, avenger amulet, moonfall mace, berserker platemail, rune axe). The loot makes the dragon fights worth it even if the soldiers are useless.

oh yes. so true. i especially like the magic drops cause champion's aura is so expensive and it's just 3a/3d anyway. some items are good, some are useless as well. i've stopped buying gladiator swords totally.

Yeah low levels haev more adventages than us I think it must be possibel to remove some battle points there should be a minus buuton on the stats page so we can decrease our health energy attack and defense points to use them in stamina this must be possible to use we must be able to change our skill points

                              I am level 88. I have 251 attack and 93 stamina.

I do not see any real increase in my damage over the guy who is level 10.

I power leveled as I just started a few weeks ago. These dragons are amazing for that. The dragons are also pretty hot when it comes to items and magic and soldiers since I don't have money to buy anything good, lol.
