Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing – The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you’re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create ‘sock puppet’ accounts – multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.

This is getting out of hand! I didn't even chain attack him, I hit him just a few times to show him that I was still around after my "five hours left on castle age." This is what I get in my inbox today. I have reported them several time to facebook and once to castle age. I don't know what else there is to do.

"you relize now your harrassing me on this game. so for sure you are getting removed now. I have sent all the attacks and the info both to the removal team for castle age and also facebook. since this is called harrassment after going after someone for more then one day and yes that is in the rules on the website. also I found out that you are in new york,NY and I just happen to live in windsor, ont just on the other side of the border from detroit. if this persists I will just have to look up your address which would take two seconds and come pay you a visit myself. if you didn't notice my friend is with the hells angels. no threats here just promises."

    and this from his friend

"my friend says were coming to pay you a visit. hope you enjoy a chapter full of hells angels at your door. this is not the first time we have done this so we promise we will totally wreck you. we will see you in three days at the most. we now know where you live. hope you can handle some really pissed off bikers guys."

"you just pissed off the wrong people now. hope you ready for visitors."

        Mount up.

Is this from the same person you were discussing yesterday?

Note: This is actually becoming a legal matter, Freshface. I seriously encourage you to report all interactions with these people to facebook. It's abuse, plain and simple.

If they want to play games, go get the Facebook folks involved. They have to take threats like that seriously, for a variety of reasons.

Also, do not delete any of the messages you get from these people.

This constitutes cyberbullying in many jurisdictions, and certainly constitutes harassment in just about any jurisdiction in the united states at least.

          Send him back a message:

          Dear Sir/Madam:

I am uncertain where you live, but I must inform you that sending messages threatening physical violence constitutes harassment in many states, and can result in criminal proceedings. I'm guessing by your use of "Hells Angels" that you in fact reside in the United States of American and thus are subject to the laws of this country.

In addition, this action qualifies as "cyber bullying" as defined in many states' legal code, and can result in your expulsion from your education institution (should you be attending one) and in some cases civil or criminal penalties, including fines and/or jail time, depending upon your local jurisdiction.

I have forwarded your messages to Facebook, requesting that your account be closed for violation of the Facebook Terms of Service. If you continue to send me unsolicited messages, I will be forced to take additional measures up to and including reporting this activity to the police.

I have also forwarded your messages to the development crew of the Castle Age application, requesting your account be revoked.

As we know, these actions usually take some time and it is not uncommon for Facebook to avoid taking direct action on first complaint, as it is difficult for them to determine the original at-fault party. However, each additional message that you send me is more evidence of your misuse of this system, so I suggest that it is in your best interest to cease before you dig yourself a hole that is too deep for you to properly extricate yourself.

I also politely suggest that you seek counseling, as your behavior is characteristic of someone who has both anger management and impulse control problems.

          (insert name here).
Wake early if you want another man's life or land.
No lamb for the lazy wolf.
          No battle's won in bed.

Yup, I just don't understand what his problem is. In the grand scheme of things its just a game. He is sitting on my profile and attacks me within second of logging into it. I'll be laying low while he wastes his time refreshing or whatever he is doing. I don't however appreciate him taking it to threating to visit me and telling me the city where I live. It is he who should be removed!

              What a tosser :P
Why do little blue midgets hit me with fish?

I've done both. I reported to facebook several times and castle age.

Wow. lol. Probably just 13 year old kids...but now they made actual threats of violence against your person...which I would assume is illegal and they can be crazy is that? It went from a funny, creative way to get someone to stop chaining you to a nutty predatory real life stalker situation in a day!

Hell's Angels? lol I can see it now down at the clubhouse...

Biker #1: Yo, guys...remember when I had my cousin down here last Christmas and he did the Toys for Tots run with us?

Biker #2: The pimply kid that pissed his pants when you got over 60mph when you gave him a ride?

Biker #1: Yeah, the geeky one that plays all the video games. Well anyway - he Facebooked me this morning and..

Biker #3: Wait, what the F did he do to you?

Biker #1: He Facebooked know - sent me a message on Facebook.

Biker #3: On what? What the hell has happened to you man? It's like I don't even know you since your old lady got you that laptop...

Biker #1: Uhhh yeah..just evolving a little, brother...don't worry, I'm the same a-hole you have always known. <takes a slug of his whiskey> So cousin...he needs some help. He says some guy sorta chain-attacked him in Castle Age and...

Biker #2: Huh? What on earth are you talking about, Chainsaw?

Biker #1: Well, it's like this...there's this game and you kill dragons and...

Biker #3: Ohhhh sweet - we get to kill our rival gang the OBDs? (Outlaw Biker Dragons) I love killing dragons! Yah!

Biker #1: Yeah...I mean, no. Listen, will you? So some peckerhead is messin' w/ my boy on the internet and we need to pay him a visit, see? Wreck him! Yahhhh! Who's with me?!!!!

                  Biker #2: <silence>

                  Biker #3: <silence>

                  Biker #1: Guys?

Biker #2: Hey Throttle - maybe we should kick Chainsaw's ass...what do you think?

Biker #3: I think he's too far gone, Spike...but let's do it anyway.... <abruptly swings and cracks Biker #1's skull open with a beer bottle>

You might want to adjust the privacy settings on your facebook account so he can't access any of your personal info.

That "threat" is pretty hilarious. Of course it would only take "two seconds" for him to locate your address -- he already knows you live in NYC, so how much harder can it be? And then after that, it's just a simple matter of getting from Windsor, Ontario to New York. Only 600 miles! I'm sure he can make that trip on his bicycle in no time!

Hmm, I'd like to be in on hammering that Hells Angels threats dude a bit. I'm not normally one for PvP - but this is a good cause.
