Is it a conversion or just a straight add? Like if my stats are 100/100 (they are higher, but makes math easier), do I wind up with 75/125 or with 100/125?

        75/125 w/ Halcyon, or 125/75 w/ Xira.

edit: they'd be seriously OP if it was a straight up +attack or +def w/ that percent.

Yeah straight up 25 % added to attack from defense by Xira and 25% added to defense from attack by Halcyon. makes the .7 multiplier less effective.

Well I know what chest I'll be rolling every time now...

I already have alll of the Halycon modifiers, just no Halycon. Hmm, I seem to have almost all the Bladebourne ones too, and some of Jada's crap as well.

My white whale seems to be getting the stuff I want, regardless of what it is.

These two are going to be the best for higher lvls because as attack and defense increase their effectiveness will over shadow any other heroes power in invading and dueling. And it will be sweet in war for the main gate too but there all the epics will matter, still sofira has the best attack ability for war +5 to entire war council at lvl 4 for next 5 attacks and Adriana always on for defense.

Xira is overrated unless your build is 1 attack and 1000 defense. Halcyon should've been the epic considering most players' builds. Xira is only truly useful in situations where your defense doesn't matter (very few). Example of my stats, a general hybrid build:

                150 Health
                762 Attack
                352 Defense

(326 energy and 350 stamina if you're wondering, although that doesn't really matter)

In a duel, I'm going to be getting a bonus of 66% from whichever stat I'm not using. Let's say I'm attacking.

                762 + (352 x 2/3) = 996.6 repeating base attack

If I equip Xira, this changes. 352 x 25% = 88 points to my attack, leaving my defense at 264 and putting my attack at 850.

                850 + (264 x 2/3) = 1026 total attack

1026 - 996.6 repeating = 29.4 actual bonus to my attack from Xira

Aurora, an epic that I own for example, on the other doesn't subtract any of my defense and gives me 150/4 attack, or 37.5 attack.

                799.5 + (352 x 2/3) = 1034.166 repeating attack.

Basically, Aurora is giving me 8 more attack points over Xira. On top of that, her stats are 26/26 rather than 27/24.

For duels, the attacking formula is:
                (Attack+(Defense*2/3)) + (Item Attack Power + Item Defense Power * .7)) + (Magic Attack Power + (Magic Defense Power * .7)) + (General Attack Power + (General Defense Power * .7)) = Battle Power

However, since we're going to have the same items for both generals, all we're looking at is:

                (Attack+(Defense*2/3)) + (General Attack Power + (General Defense Power * .7)) = Battle Power

                Aurora: 1034.16 + (26 + (26 x .7)) = 1078.36 attack
                Xira: 1026 + (27 + (24 x .7)) = 1069.8 attack

Xira gives me about 50 more attack than Aurora for things like monsters, but I'm also going to be depleting that blue bar on most monsters alot more as well.

Let's flip it around and do it defensively with Halcyon.

                352 + (762 x 2/3) = 860 defense

                762 x 25% = 190.5 to defense

That leaves me with 571.5 attack and 542.5 defense.

                542.5 + (571.5 x 2/3) = 923.5 defense
                923.5 - 860 = 63.5 actual bonus to my defense from Halcyon

Corvintheus in this example will give me 150/3 or 50 defense points. 860 + 50 = 910, which is actually 13.5 less than Halcyon total for a duel. We also have to take their stats into account as well now. 28/28 vs 18/27

Looking at how they factor when defending in a duel:

                ((Attack*2/3)+Defense)) + ((General Attack Power * .7) + General Defense Power) = Battle Power

                Corvintheus: 910 + ((28 x .7) + 28) = 957.6 defense
                Halcyon: 923.5 + ((18 x .7) + 27) = 963.1 defense

(966.5 if she has her items and is at 20/29)

In a duel Halcyon's giving 5.5 (8.9 with items) defense over Corvintheus with my semi-glass cannon build
. So in this case, Halcyon wins. Most players have more attack than their defense, so yeah. I'm still wondering why Halcyon doesn't have a gold frame.

Too make a fool out of a player who spends loads of money collecting epic general knows very less about the game and doesn't read forums and attacks her thinking its not a framed general another good thing about her. And Aurora is tied to health if anybody starts to chain you he will wear her down

Aurora is for attacking not leaving up on defense. If I ever find myself actually dependent on her attack I will just click heal every time.

valid point where does malekus stand on this. Just found out it is based on your stats I am a hybrid give my attention to both attack and defense Xira and Halcyon will be the one's for the future I don't plan on increasing my health that much so that I can die peacefully or to put it better Hide. As both my defense and attack grow Xira is going to become more and more relevant unless the devs get in another epic.

Xira is a battering ram. She gives a massive penalty to defense in exchange for a massive boost to attack. Plus why are people saying she (or Halycon) would rule in war? That bonus only applies to the player's stats, not her own and only if she is in command. If I'm warring, I'll probably havve Adriana in charge.

When I go on my blood rampage en route to high king, expect to feel my Xira knocking on your door.

Yeah thats what I said earlier sofira for 5 attack and then adraina. If you have all epics and a great gear and want to give a boost to main gate then these two

I got 150hp simply from praying to Aurora to get her items. Getting the moonfall amulet ASAP is worth the 50 hp in my opinion, and I don't hide so yeah. Malekus would beat Aurora in my formula if I had around 80 generals with my build because his stats would factor in higher when attacking. It depends on your build too. Just put your stats in the formulas and see how it works out. I can only see Xira being better if your defense is near equal to or higher than your attack, though.

At 750/750 attack and defense she's giving you 1312.5 attack in a duel.
Malekus with 100 generals gives you 45 attack + your 1250 to total 1295.

                              Malekus: 1295 + (31 + (21 x .7) = 1340.7
                              Xira: 1312.5 + ( 27 + (24 x .7) = 1356.3

At 750 attack and 725 defense she only gives you 1293.75 though. In that case:

                              Malekus = 1340.7
                              Xira = 1337.55
