I just hit Baron, and don't plan on going any higher for at least another 100 levels, so I was thinking about opening an ATM for people, but the thing is, I'm like 400-ish wins away from getting into legends, and I don't want all you mutant PVP's to screw that up. So what do people think? Should I do it or just wait a couple days and then go for it after I apply to Legends?

If you don't enjoy pvp enough to be more than willing to do some extra fights to make up for some extra losses, then why join a pvp group?Fear the Legendary Ninja Poultry.
The Ninja Poultry laughs at you.

being a pre-legend I can only speak for myself, the way I see it, the membership in Legends is not about your stats, it is about your believes and actions, and it is a responsibility to stand out for yourself as well
2-3 days ago I hit Baron and I was about 600 wins from that particular requirement, I never did hesitate for a single second to put my keep link out there in the open
Legends initial requirements is just first tier filter, it doesn't mean you are automatically in
my 1.5 cents

I like the idea and the attitude of the legends, but to be honest, I really dislike the requirement of 10k netto wins compared with rank duke(if I remember correctly)
If you do real pvp (no raids, no hiding, AND attacking those equal or higher rank, maybe some where you can´t find equal ranks) you will net at least an averenge of 8 -10+ bps per win. In other words, if you are no king or high king at the time you reach 10k net wins, you aren´t doing real pvp.
and yes, an atm is fun, so what

The problem is not the requirement, but the users which like to apply. Considering not to open an atm(a pvp based funny event) due to the requirements or the other mentioned things, just to fit in this numbers.
Heck, I´m chain-attacking people I know I loose to just for the fun or joining all the PvPvM events. Because it´s a game and it should be funny.
That´s just my opinion maybe I shouldn´t talk about this as I´m nowhere near those requirements (and with my gameplay I probably will never be) and I lke all of the Legends I´ve met in those events. Finally, I wish the OP luck with his application and a good time.

As a member of the group - I don't yet meet the requirements of 10k net wins. I might do at the end of this month - that said - I think the legends group decided I was suitable for the group when I opened up my two ATM's and joined in the forum PvPvM battles. The forum PvP events are the most fun I've ever had. I've also suffered more than 2k losses at the hands of the PvPvM events alone.
Today for instance - I'm a modest lvl 285. I chained a lvl 1300+ I lost every click and I put 35 stamina into putting them down into the too weak bracket. they said I was insane to ruin my stats like that. I said it was good fun and I claimed the moral victory as I didn't have to heal up to do it...
For me and my opinion: to be a succesful legend applicant it is as much a frame of mind as it is a set of moderately good looking statistics. both are mostly required. hiders, scripters and whiners need not apply.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.
I'm still trying to wrap my head around the OP's "mutant PvP'ers" statement. That doesn't sound like someone really wanting into Legends unless he was trying to be amusing.

a Prince ATM is more valuable.
as a Prince, i will only get 3 BPs if you defeat you.
on the other hand, a King will still get 8 BPs if they defeat a Prince.
if you are really low level, you can earn 20 BPs by defeating a Prince.
also, ATM are meant to be withdrawn. if you are concern with your win/lose ratio, you shouldn't join Legends. they chained one other 100 times just for fun.
so i suggest you reach Prince before opening an ATM.

I'm not that far from Baroness, and I will probably open an ATM when I hit it.
And besides, it's a nice test of strength anyways. And fun.
