Top 1000 would likely move upwards regardless. Meteorite is a popular event. MK/FW really only help if you have the stamina to hit monsters anyway, they don't give you stamina out of nowhere, like Zin.

I think we need a new tab for the Nightmare monster list.
Shaw landed a CRITICAL HIT on [Nightmare]Draculia's Heart hitting them for an UNGODLY amount of Damage[239,872,921]!
Shaw is conquering the world of Castle Age and has levelled Brakus to 80!
You are victorious in battle, taking 140 total damage and dealing 9520 total damage to your enemy.

Not likely. At least not until we get a lot more Nightmare monsters.

Agreed. Right now is a hot mess. Normal monsters aren't appearing in public list in a sea of nightmare draculias.

By the 5th or 6th Nightmare most people will stop having all their minis float these things into public with no hope of killing. The Devs will have put something in place to stop summons with 0 attackers from entering the pool, etc. Like any new feature there will be some growing pains as everything, and everyone adapts.

I don't have a problem with the current system. But I don't frequent the public list very often anyway.

Depends on the level you are in the game and stuff you currently have.

I have a Hell's Viper I'm leveling up. And I have a Crystal Whelp I'm working on. We're already getting a Fire Whelp from Meteorite. I'm not spending Nightmare points to get another Fire Whelp.
The current items in Nightmare Emporium don't work for me EXCEPT Heart of Nightmare Draculia. We can't get that item anywhere else (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
I would get the Heart of Nightmare Draculia OR hold on to the points.

The Nightmare Controller armor is elite stuff. Just working towards that to obtain that keeps my interest in the game for a while.

The only other item I would spend Nightmare points is Hell's Viper egg or shards if they ever show up in Nightmare Emporium. Would a Layla or Monkey King show up in Nightmare Emporium? I doubt that.

Try to make a monster public when 24 hours or even 48 hours left and see what happens.

I dropped a Corvintheus with only my 100 mil on it and it went down in a surprising 12 hrs. My Fenrir is not doing the same. I use public all the time and it is quite difficult to find the monsters you want to hit, at any tier it seems.

I'm very worried that my Fenrir might fail. Only 24 hours left and made it public, but it ain't even appearing in a list and sea of nightmare draculias.

Sad for you. But you can learn from your mistake. Be a responsible summoner. Plan ahead. Make connections in the community. You probably waited too long on Fenrir for it to be relevant to the whales. Anyone spending money on the game will go for the new Nightmare Quests each month for the Nightmare points for the Emporium. But promo spenders and f2p are nowhere near ready for Fenrir yet.

I tend to be in (silent) agreement with all of your posts, but I have to disagree in this case as I think this is influenced by the Nightmare Dracs more than just the short timeframe. A fenrir with 24hrs would go down easily in normal circumstances, but now they're not as visible on the list. By your own admission you don't use the public lists so much, but the obvious consensus, on this board at least, is that it's a big problem.

Comparing this situation to the release of other new monsters (in another thread...maybe this one...dunno) is a false equivalence. New monsters don't have a reward for summoning them, so although the list is packed with them at first, lower level players stop summoning when they realise they're way out of their league - which would typically be after a single summon. But now, on the 1st of next month, it's all going to happen again because those players are rewarded just for using their free summon, and they don't have to land a single hit. They'll send them public, because it makes zero difference to them if it fails publicly or not, and the public list will be rammed again.

My own personal beef with it is that I'm having to check the game and refresh the monster list constantly to find the mobs I need for chaos campaign, which I never used to have to do, and surely could only be fun to someone pretty far along the spectrum.

I've said that there are only 2 monsters with even a possible reward for summoning. Prior to this, it was just Azrael and her summoner drop, which required a fair amount of damage.

I don't use the public lists much. Because I know they suck. Moving the Nightmares to a single list to get them out of the way just means the lists will go back to sucking as bad as they did last month. Uhhhh.... No. Sucky is still sucky.

So what would actually make the public list more effective? Well, if we can't just have a drop-down to filter for a specific monster, then maybe add new categories. What's it now? Small, medium, large?

And what's the easiest monster on that large size list? Alpha Bahamut? Just using the Summon Monsters page (cuz public list is full of ND's), there are 3 monsters for level 1-20, but 41 monsters in the 300+ section. It's (long past) time for a new list. But that list needs to actually be a guide for players. Because yes, some people still need a guide. There should be a Divine list, for monsters from Jahanna to Poseidon that only have divine armor. The next list tier should start at Kesseran, and be for the Resistance era monsters. Drac and Fenrir are a new tier of monsters, requiring much more damage than anything before, and as such should be in a separate list.

I think the biggest issue was timing this release so close to a Meteorite event. More attention is paid to the public lists when people actually need to use them. And I don't know that we need another Nightmare monster or that we'll get one.

It seems that we will get more Nightmare monsters. So maybe there will be enough of them to justify their own list. But with a reward for summoning them too, the public list would get mixed more anyway.

But monsters don't show on priority list at 24 hours, so I really figured they wouldn't show on public list either.

New list tab sure sounds like a good idea to immediately stop all the fuss, no complexity compared to, say, minimum required damage in order to send public. Seems like a natural progression and fits with the existing format too; low, medium, high, nightmare.

Something must have done about this. I think new tab for nightmare monsters will be best idea. I personally don't hit public monsters, because I'm not that big and I'm still working for my own monsters, but I make them public when I'm done with them and they usually die without a problem, but now since this nightmare thing list is clearly flooded with nigthmare monsters and the risk for them to not appear in list or fail got increased. And for some big monsters like Fenrir or normal Draculia I need almost whole 7 days to do +400m damage with my toons.

I think either devs should make new tab for nightmare monsters, either don't reward players with 1000 crystals just for summoning.
