Digging is 50 stamina per the button.

    I got the following banner:
    Excavation started,Excavation location:North of the Elf Mine,Excavation duration:1h,Exhausted 50 stamina, produced 20 fatigue.

    Timer has a one-hour cooldown.

I am clueless; just sharing what little I know of this stupid new feature.

One hour later, I hit collect button and got 55 XP. So the XP is given when you hit collect button.

1/ This new feature is too complicated.

2/ On each of your loadouts, you can add pet(s). Currently does not work on iOS.

3/ I reached mine skill level 2 and received the following banner:

Congrats! Your mining skill has reached level 2!
Small Upgrade Crystal 's hourly output rate increases by 1!Fire Element dust's hourly output rate increases by 1!Water Element dust's hourly output rate increases by 1!
          Collect successd!You have got 55 exp,100 mining exp,Small Upgrade Crystal x1!

Rather than fix the game, the Dev decided to complicate this broken game with a feature that has a huge learning curve.

What exactly is the use of this mining? You get stuff to bolster your...pet, which happens to be another loadout item? So it acts as enhance for the pet, just like enhance crystals for weapons?

There's just a whole lot, well not a lot, but some, describing how mines will work, but what's the benefit?

Seems to be a pseudo version of generals.
one thing I like about the pet array set up is that you can set them up either, it's suggesting, as an pre set array or it seems you can set them up as a unique array (via load outs) something I wish you can do with general alliances.

Some extra info through hero and pets (new main tab)

1.Pet are set in the lineup to take effect, different positions take effect to different degrees. Characters receive bonuses to the attack, defense and skills of all partners in the battle lineup.
2.Depending on the race and level of the pets, different bonuses will be provided to the characters, and the bonuses of different races can take effect at the same time.
3.Skill effects, attack and defense +10% for pets of the same race as Position 1 pet.
4.You need to set link1 first before you can set pets in other positions in the lineup.

Yes, looks like generals. The crystals for upgrades to be obtained via mining. Have skills and can be linked. Now there will be a new rush to get better pets, legendary pets, pet crystals and upgrades.

Seems like instead of adding more generals to general alliance they decided to add new feature - pets. Pets can be linked like generals can be linked in alliance and pets have their powers like generals and they help in battles. Right now, we're having a classic battle and don't see my pet there, but when I was having 10v10, I definitely saw my pet under my general. I think I'm gonna wait for better pets, rather than investing resources in our free current pet. I'm pretty sure better pets will appear later with physical pierce and resistance powers.

While new features are always welcome, I see some problems in this new pet system. The biggest problem I see is stamina cost. For one location mining it needs 50 stamina and other locations have even more insane amount of stamina requirement - 200. And those excavation quests last only 1 hour. So, if you decide to dig whole day, you will never have stamina left for monsters, which really sucks, especially if you do 200 stamina quests. Man, I wish they would put something else instead of asking your stamina. Even energy would be a better choice, or stamina but if these excavation quests would last long like 6 or 12 hours and with more rewards, so you don't have to pay 200 or even 50 stamina every hour.

There are some errors in English as well that needs fixing like "Collect successd! You have got 55 exp,20 mining exp,Small Upgrade Crystalx1!" & if you hover your mouse over here, message appears cut like this:

                            It's shown in 100v100 too:

You can also see that opponents also have "pets" button, so you can click on it and see which pets they have equipped.

Also, this appeared in Alchemy this morning. Pets I think are like D&D familiars. They are creatures you carry with you that give your character bonuses. You appear to be able to level them up so the bonuses improve, and also to increase the level cap on them to level them even higher, and it looks like there are multiple copies of the same pet, like with generals, as well as different pets. One question I have is where are they going to drop pets? Will they be part of promos or will they drop in events? Monsters? Battling? That doesn't seem to be addressed in any of the help / info sections in the game.
