    Oh well....Is there something I can use Zeus for...his ability off-hand doesn't seem that...interesting?

Best stuff imo are crit items. There's only a few in game though. The elf gear was the most recently/highest pure crit. Next was the elite dragonslayer gear from hunter path and then the normal dragon slayer gear. You can also forge chaos gems with crit bonus onto them as well (or general boost gems). If you look at the formula for monster damage, general attack and gear stat basically contribute the most. So, enhance your gear +19 using gold if you can afford it for slightly better stats. Divine gear is useless to equip unless you have nothing else. If you're a starter, chances are your best gear will be the rare gear from draculia, ouroboros, vargulis, or samael. They all have easyish to get rare gear that have piercing bonuses to help you damage many of the newer mobs and also have some gem slots as well that you can put your disposable stuff on.

It's possible, but don't hold your breath. I've had some leftover skullhorns stashed away for 7 years.

Ok good to know. I'm not sure what the photo upload is suppose to do for anti spam but I guess it prevents a robot.

that statement about the x3 stamina - I was referring to using x3 generals (Barbarus and Maalvus); how you assumed I meant I use/need/whatever 3 times more stamina is..

your "math" about crit hits.. "At just a simple 50 stamina hit, that's 52 chances to roll a crit" 😂😂😂 that's just ridiculous. 52 chances? you mean 52%? how?!?

also... I'm not sure how reality works for you, but me - I could only buy/get the dragon and its gear AFTER this event; so yeah, I could not count on those crit abilities during this event. if you did, please tell us how. I'd love to know
You could have gotten the gear DURING the event. It gave you enough from killing the very hard or even the easy dragon to make the items as the event went on. You did not need to BUY anything to have made every single piece of gear. Example: ELF ASSASSIN LEATHER ARMOR requires 2 young and 1 burning scale. You only needed to take the easy dragon down to 30% and you could have gotten the gear within the first day. The other pieces would have obviously taken longer and some of them required you to be able to do 20% damage on the VERY HARD dragon. But it was perfectly doable. As a free to play player who never spent a single penny on this game, I killed both VERY HARD dragons and all 7 HARD dragons using free stamina pots from events/daily/natural regen.

And the part about 52 chances/50 stamina hits... You're saying something like you would take "2600 stamina" to do whatever. I'm saying if you do 2600 1 stamina attack, each attack has a chance to crit right? Therefore, you have 2600 opportunities to crit and at a 10% crit rate, you would have critted 260 times. If you're doing 50 stamina hits, you're doing 2600/50 = 52 attacks. 52 attacks means 52 chances to crit and at a 10% crit rate, you will do 5.2 crits. I don't mean 1 attack has 52 chances. I just meant for any given stamina, doing a 1 or 50 or 100 or 200 stamina doesn't matter as long as you have a big enough sample size because in the end, the amount of crits will balance out. If you do a 200 stamina attack and get a crit, that's equivalent to 200 1 stamina attacks all getting crits. You were saying it as if you using 1 stamina attacks somehow got you a better damage ratio per stamina but that simply is not true.

And I was referring to this quote from you: "yeah, it's lazy, it saves time. you're right. if I did that, I'd probably need 3 times the stamina I use." I have no idea how you ever would get 3x the stamina used from using a x3 hit or a larger hit, Castle Age simply doesn't work that way. Even if ALL your attacks critted, you'd still only end up with 2.5x more damage than if none of your attacks critted, never 3x. Regardless, every attack is able to crit though and therefore all hits are equal in terms of damage per stamina.

At least
You're probably buying a lot of refills, aren't you.

that part about getting Barbarus was really funny. you must be do standup or something.
Jesus, what a horrible take? You do realize every hit has a chance to get crits right? If you're doing 150 stamina hits, what if you critted there lmao? It all balances out in the long run, especially 2600 stamina. At just a simple 50 stamina hit, that's 52 chances to roll a crit. If you did this event and got the gear from the dragon plus your base crit chance every character has, you were probably looking at 15-20% crit chances. So, I'm pretty sure it'll average out over 52 hits that you'll get some crits. How isn't this smart? And how would you need 3x the stamina used lol? Crits either offer a 2x or 3x damage increase. So there's no way you're ever going to need "3 times the stamina". If you're doing 2600 1 stamina hits, you're getting an average of 260 crits, which averages 1.5x extra damage per hit (50% split between 2x and 3x damage for an average of 1.5x damage increase). That means your 260 crits becomes equivalent to 390 1 stamina hits. So in total, you did 2600 + 390 "hits" worth of damage, or 2990 stamina worth of whatever your 1x hit is.

So, if you did 50 stamina hits, you're getting 5.2 crits, but I'll round to 5. So, you're getting 1.5x the damage on these 50 stamina hits, which equates to 375 stamina worth of hits extra, so youre at 2975 stamina. It's all the same thing lmao. The only difference is the rounding. Not only that, but I'm pretty sure this dragon was bugged (I feel I got far less exp doing 1 stamina hits, 2 exp max, whereas pvp can give up to 6 exp) to give less exp for 1 stamina hits than 50+ because of the 5% exp increase when monster hunting. You can add 5% to 100 exp, which you get when using 50 stamina hits, but you can't add 5% to 1 or 2 exp, which you get for using 1 stamina hits. Therefore, using the 1 stamina hit cheated you out of exp and therefore got you less returns and less levels.

Third, barbarus is hard to get? I literally came back to this game after a 7 year break and started a new account in Nov 2020. I've never spent a single cent on the game and have a 4 star barbarus (and an extra copy cause I miscounted) and a 0 star Dolomar and Sahar. These are generals from the oracle for 30 favor points. You get free favor points from achievements. There are some, such as doing 500k damage on 25 hydras or 100k damage on 25 dragons which will literally give you 26 favor points EACH. You can collect hundreds of free favor points, not including the ones you get from monster hunting.

Not only that, but I left out the part about how the boss took less damage the less HP he has. That means the smaller stamina hits you're doing, the less damage you're actually doing. So, you actually ended up costing yourself more stamina and probably wasted 3 times the stamina I used lmao.

So, how about instead of being dismissal of every advice you get, you actually do some critical thinking, take in the advice from players who clearly know more than you, and then maybe you can improve at the game?

Hell, if you didn't read anything from this, just know you can make a new account and literally get barbarus probably within the day, seeing as though you start out with FP. Don't remember how much though. That already lets me know you don't know what you're saying at all.

The % conversion on Storm dragon for potions, is a wasted ability on those players to have their toons capped at 2000/1000 Energy/Stsmina values. If you use a refill with Storm dragon it won’t take you past your max Energy/Stamina.

Yes exactly. If I understood everything correctly. Haven't used it myself yet.
You only need to equip the general at the moment you consume the potion.
