How many cakes (meteorites) have been required in general in previous events to end up top 300? was wondering if its even plausible for me to aim for or not. I have 140 right now and can go for more, but not sure if I want to spend the time needed for it if it's too far off. 140 should be safe for top 1000 at least. (And why do I have to upload a photo every time I post something?)

The more people ask how many were needed on previous events, the more the amount raises.
IMHO it does not make sense to spend more to reach top300, not even top600 (which you still haven't guaranteed); but just do whatever brings you more fun and won't regret later.

225+ was a safe bet but u can try 230

IMHO it does not make sense to spend more to reach top300, not even top600 (which you still haven't guaranteed); but just do whatever brings you more fun and won't regret later.

Top 300 brings you an extra copy of the general. Sadly it's probably a crappy general, however top 300 here is definitely not as useless as top 300 in Meteorite.

They should do the same for Meteorite IMO. An extra Legendary Chest for top 300. Currently the gap between 1 and 2 Chests is huge (top 1000 and top 75).

Also, I think in this event what you're getting for top 600 are boots, and seeing how Gaea does things, they may have a slot. May be useful for some people.

If we translate the effort into FPs, I don't see it profitable this time. Unless one if killing way more birds with the same stone (like campaigns, monster leaderboard, etc. and even that way...)

the general looks good, but is sh*t for almost all players becuse it need stupidly high runes to get good boost, and need to be power lvler to get good runes. most pvpers have better generals in alliance already.

The boots COULD be good, but since 2 slotted boots are easy to get, they are not worth the price UNLESS youre a heavy spender and they have good pierce.

Yeah I wouldn't have thought so many players would go for this pretty much useless general... I guess new is always better... Top 1000 was closer to 145 Cakes it seems :/

yup. Good thing i was online two hours before cutoff, so i was able to observed how my rank steadily decreasing. And luckily there were some few free stam potions in anniv redemption so was able to add up my cakes.

I was going for top 300, thought I was very safe (rank 242 four hours before the end), and it was also much higher than I had anticipated. Woke up 20 minutes before the end for some reason and was rank 296. Had to use 2 potions to level up as I would have ended up top 600 otherwise.

Top 300 had an extra copy of the general though so it's understandable that more people went for it compared to Meteorite. I had taken that into account but definitely far from enough.
