So, several weeks have pased and stats are:
    - 21 Players at top rank Gladiator, so 0,1% of Player Base (assumming 20K players as per last arena)
    - 17 Players between Diamond and Platinum: 0,08% PB
    - 100 Players estimate in gold: 0.5%
    - 200 Players estimate in silver: 1%
    - The rest in Bronze: 98.3% Players in Bronze

    Conclussions:
    - 6 ranks
    - 98.3% PB in the lowest rank possible, most of them in Bronze III have not crossed the bottom of the 30 subranks aprox.
    - 0.18% above the middle point (top 3 ranks gladiator, platinum, diamond)....
    - 0.1% in the top
    - Either they should acknoldge the poor design, or leave only 2 ranks: gladiator and bronze III. Make no sense to have 30 subranks when they are not in use.
    - If you compare it to the ranks of arena.... colo 3 is just absurd.

    * estimations for gold/silver are based on some players rankings and are approximations, might be within +-100 players accurate (+-0.5% PB), but the main picture.... would not change.

and of the 21 in top, atleast 20 have exploide the team-feature.and taking advantage of exploides are against the rules and can get youre account closed. so devs can acturally use this as prof of it, and ban the accounts 😊
(i know will not happen, because 10-12 of them are also heavy spenders, but one can dream of it 😊 )

Honestly, the change to tokens is probably worse that the change to stars.

A single mage can prevent all 5 players in a team from being able to to do anything because there is no chance of hitting through.

With 20 tokens mages could always get nuked in the first volley of attacks. The regeneration also helped with that...

With 10 tokens, however, the OP token nullifier has really jammed up the grind.

It also *appears* that the matching stifles progress as well.

Good builds can improve their odds beyond coin toss, but only so much.

Was really looking forward to season 3 and this is what we got...
My total activity in the game just plummeted by 80% and spending went to zero...
the only good part now whit such an awesome feat is its easy to clear the evade in campaigns.

So... The poll right now: 58 No for 1 Yes. With 33 considering it "the biggest fail in years".

I was tossing around the idea of spending money to upgrade my attack general to at least 4*, to have a more competitive advantage. With the miserable matching happening - players thousands of levels higher matched against me, with levels in single and double digits matched on my teams - there is no general star level that would be useful with that. Because of this horrible season of colosseum, no spending money from me.

It's been 3 weeks already since they started this Colosseum and I still see 1000-2000 level opponents in Bronze tier... What players like me (500 level and similar) can do in this god damn Colosseum? What chance we have to move to next tier or even win? I'm just entering in battles and then don't even bother to play 'cause I know I will have 1000-2000 level enemies & there's no point to play... This matchmaking sucks a lot... I'm so frustrated & mad by this Colosseum. Brings more frustration than pleasure...It should be called "Colosseum for elite (big level) players only".

Not only players like you (lvl 500), either you are on the top 1% of the strongest players (lvl 6-7-8K)... or YOU CAN DO NOTHING.

So if you are planning to promote your generals, or get a bit more pierce, etc... forget it..., those selected are in teams with Avg lvl 3K and beyond at least. The rest are far, far, very far away from the high ranks.

I am in silver rank now! Yesterday, I am battling with players with 6000 and 7000 level! How sad they could feel? That makes me feel better and privileged as we are in the same situation! If team feature is a problem, cut it off! Also, I think it is good to have less point loss for each failure, that makes your victory look more worthy. At last, the dev should like about bell curve, 66% of the people should get average reward and achievement! I know it is impossible to make change when the event started! Each the reward, more honour points grant for the lower ranks. For example, the honour points grant for each rank is 40000 for bronze, 42500 for silver, 45,000 for gold, 47500 for diamond, 50000 for gladiator! This makes everyone have the chance to buy something decent!
Do I need to have a signature here? Sorry, but I honestly don’t know how to do it!

And what's with those 10 level, newly created accounts? I'm seeing them a lot in Colosseum. Why people do this stupid sh*t?

Not entirely on topic, but when the game has shown no real signs of development for ages I can kinda see why folk start messing around with alts/minis, exploits and general buffoonery - just to relive the tedium I guess

I really enjoy this game. Wish devs would care more about those problems.

I partly disagree: Development has been there, meteorite, colo, enhance and refine, other events, (don´t remember which company introduced some of them but there is new things)

However you are right: The BIG complains are in the limbo, like new GB seasons, or this terrible colo that everyone saw how bad it was from day 1, and complained, and yet, nothing is changed not even an apology (sorry, we messed it up really big this time).

I don´t know what is worse, no development, or not hearing your users....

And I misclicked on "No" when I meant to click "No, biggest fail in years".

Though there should have been an option "No, biggest fail, ever".

This colosseum isn't entirely the worst. The responsiveness of the game has been vastly better than both previous colosseums. I haven't seen a rollback yet, and all of my clicks have gone through. Sometimes there's some lag in the first opening moments fury or a match, or when the entire enemy team targets just you, but that's the same for any other part of the game. At least there are some good things.
