Giving up on keira

The talk on the forums about level and attack power being important for the epics is nonsense. People say lots of things, test it for yourself.

I always do moderate damage to monsters based on a point where I can get an epic and have multiple monsters running at the same time. I get about ~3 epics every day in whatever monsters I am hunting at a time. Also importantly I get lots of nice rare items too for beefing up my invasion army.

Don't trust things on the forum, use it as a hypothesis to test for yourself.

Go do 200k to 3 different Keiras. Its better this way because you can even wait for them to die, and do other monsters in the meantime. Or as you keep gaining stamina just keep tagging Keiras.

For Lotus, I once had 9 of her in que, each with 1 million damage.. and still no DTG

Find the minimum damage for 1 epic, do that to several Kiera. The minimum for 1 epic on Kiera is probably far less than the total stamina required to solo her and certainly less than half. In any event, you've already chosen to give up so, no worries right?

I have to agree this is a good idea. And it worked for me I got my Keira general with just 11 Keira monster kills ( 3 of which I summoned & on all 3 I got souls)

My experience on monsters in general has been that you get better rewards when more people are fighting & all of them are doing equally high damage. What I mean is, you doing 100k & 10 others doing 10k damage each would get you worse rewards than all 11 of you doing ~20k damage. This is just my experience and it may be wrong.

you are not lvl 168 with BSI of >3

Currently level 142 with a BSI of 6.2. Don't assume everyone is "below level 100 and talking shenanigans".

Soloing her has obviously not netted the result you wanted, so why not follow the advice from a few people here and try spreading your damage.

I never had trouble getting kiera, i got her a week ago, getting soul after my 4th summon.
I got dtg too while doing the 5 lotus achievements and that was before i could summon her.
Now i just keep her orb for display

oh btw, i deal 60-100k dmg on her. and 200k on the last one which got me her soul.

If this is your experience, then do 200k damage to three Keiras. Still better chance of getting the loot you're looking for than by soloing one.

its already discussed in the foruns that the amount of epics isnt determined by the dmg you do, but with attack lvl, you lvl and something else.

That something else is damage. And there's no clear picture yet, just discussions. Based on my own experience, I think the amount of damage a player deals and their level are both taken into account when doing loot calculations. A level 50 player dealing 80k to Keira deserves much more loot than a level 150 player dealing the same amount. Whether this is done in tiers, or by straight level calculation is a mystery, and will likely remain a mystery.

I've killed her over 50 times, I still have not receive DS, I have multiples of everything, including her soul. So it's hit or miss. But I get what you're saying, damn frustrating.

I'm level 200+, and I get 1 epic with 50k damage.
My best record was 39k and got the Demon Plate.

try to kill it faster, don't soloed it. i never soloed keira n got it

Edit: A little better math this time:

If you need around 100k to get an epic from Keira, and she has around 600k health, you have a much better chance at getting loot by spreading that 600k across 6 Keiras, especially if there's a specific piece of loot you're looking for.

Soloing her, you only get 2 epics. You will never, ever get 6 epics from soloing her.

I only just unlocked the quest to get her orb last night. After picking up demon strength in a raid this morning, I have everything but the shield and her soul. I'm busy working on other things, so that summoning orb is going to be sitting in my keep for a while. When I get bored with the other stuff I'm doing, I'll go back and see if I can't get the shield somehow. I don't plan on summoning her until I have everything else.

There is a maximum amount of loot that you will get from killing a monster. After you reach that plateau theres isn't much reason to continue attacking. Lets say if you did a third of the damage, but did it to three keira's instead, you would probably wind up getting 4-6 epics.
