Make a new, blank workbook/spreadsheet.
1) In column A, enter "Name" for the header, and then the names of all the territories.
2) In column B, enter "ROI" for the header, we'll come back to this column.
3) In column C, enter "# Owned", and fill in the number you own from each territory in it's appropriate row.
4) In column D, enter "Cost(base)", and the base cost for each territory (see below.)
5) In column E, enter "Income(1)", and then the income for each territory (see below.)
6) In column F, enter "Cost(current)", and the formula below for each cell.
Code:=D2+(D2*(C/10))
7) Now, go back to Column B and enter the following formula:
Code:=E2/F2
What this does: The ROI column (column B) indicates the Rate of Income, or how much money you'll be earning per hour compared to the cost of buying that territory.
How you use it: Pick the territory that gives the highest ROI, and buy 10 of that.
Always buy 10 at a time, since territory cost goes up per one you buy - if you buy 10 at once, it's at the base price instead of increasing per one you buy. You save a lot that way.
If you've done it right, the formulae will show the ROI(0) data listed below.
Punch in 15 in every territory's column C to get the final column, ROI(test), to check and make sure each formula is working. If not, hit me up on my facebook to ask.
Lastly, territory data:
Code:Name Cost Income ROI(0) ROI(test) Small Tower 5,000 100 .02 .008 Temple 20,000 400 .02 .008 Marketplace 100,000 2,000 .02 .008 Mountain Sanctuary 350,000 7,000 .02 .008 Castle 3,000,000 65,000 .0216 .0087 Lake Fortress 12,000,000 150,000 .0125 .005 Sky Sanctuary 25,000,000 200,000 .0008 .0032
If I have any of those wrong, let me know. I reverse engineered them at 4 AM with no coffee.

If you are worried about your income, level Mercedes up to 4 (is quite fast) and stop buying units\equipment for a while until you reach a satisfying income. There's no low or high income, it all depends on what you're planning to do. If you do mostly duels or monster hunting, you don't need that much money.

I'm at level 126 and I clear over 35,000,000 per hr. It's suitable to my needs. I have 501 army (actually about 750 lol). I'm a monster slayer so I have good army and equipment w/o purchasing a whole lot so that income is good for me. I'll just keep saving and buying more whenever I get enough for a block of 10 on the last 3 pieces of land on the list. Meh. No worries. I usually win my fights anyway so who cares?

The maximum income you can have depends mostly on how long you've been playing Castle Age. There are people LVL200+ that don't make much gold. I doubt any of the older players makes less than 100 million/hour.
If invasion is your thing, you need LOADS of gold! In fact having a large income can't hurt.
I'm well over 100 million an hour and still feel it's not nearly enough! Perhaps when I hit 300mill/hour I'll think differently...Last edited by Hfaistos; 12-08-2009, 02:15 PM.

Comparing income with level doesn't really make sense at all. Some people take less than 1 month to hit lvl 100 while others take 3 months.
How can you expect those fast leveling people to accumulate so much gold in such a short time?
Those that commented that you have low income but never really ask how long have you been playing CA is pretty simple minded.
Slowing down your leveling because you want to have a high income at your level is not the way to play. I can be lvl 10 and yet have an income of 100mil. It's possible but stupid.

Again, you can always make up for low income by having decent ATT/DEF stats. They are by far the deciding factor in battle. As has been pointed out over and over in the forums.

This should help people determine if they have a low income or not.
Take the #s below and divide by your income to get how many hours it will take to get these items.
Then consider that if you buy nothing but land, you should be able to increase your income by $1 million a day (roughly) assuming your income is already $20 million.
Total cost to buy a Gladiator Sword, Knight Hero, and Champions Aura for army size of:
=============================================
100 - $5,376,250,000
200 - $20,102,500,000
300 - $44,178,750,000
400 - $77,605,000,000
500 - $120,381,250,000
So that's 1 unit, weapon, and spell.
To get Commander's Plate:
100 - $1,725,000,000
200 - $4,725,000,000 + (100 army amount)
300 - $7,725,000,000 + (200 army amount)
400 - $10,725,000,000 + (300 army amount)
500 - $13,725,000,000 + (400 army amount)
So 500 will cost $38,625,000,000.
To get Archangels:
100 - $4,025,000,000
200 - $11,025,000,000 + (100 army amount)
300 - $18,025,000,000 + (200 army amount)
400 - $25,025,000,000 + (300 army amount)
500 - $32,025,000,000 + (400 army amount)
So 500 will cost $90,125,000,000.
My income is just over $100 million. It will take me 50 days to buy a Knight Hero, Gladiator Sword, and Champians Aura for my 501 army.
If my income was $50 million, it'd take me 100 days.
If my income was $50 million, but my army was 200, it'd take me 17 days.
So $50 million income is low for a 500 army, but absolutely great for a 200 army.
Since everyone's army size varies, and your battle rank does as well, it's impossible to tell based on level whether your income is too low. Having 2/3 - 1 times your level in millions is a safe bet for larger army sizes, but completely unnecessary for a dueler with an army of ten.
So you shouldn't be asking someone else if your income is too low. You should ask yourself, "How long am I willing to wait to fully equip my army?". If it takes you 3 months and you're willing to wait that long, then your income is fine. If you're like me and want everything NOW, then it's too low.Last edited by slosh; 12-09-2009, 02:51 PM.

All history past has shown it.

Your "problem" is you leveled incredibly fast. Buying land takes time. I would venture to guess that you put a lot of skill points into energy/stamina. If you continue to do so, you will continue to lag behind on income for your level when looking at the 2/3-1 million per level suggestion.
To give you an idea of what I mean by fast, I'm level 106 and it's probably taken me 3+ months to get here. But I put a lot more points into attack/defense than I did energy/stamina.

yes currently i had 101 stamina and 120 energy with 96 attack 30 defense. i think i will go on attack first now.
i guess that's it, building money take time for sure.

but if u r a power lvler like 4-5 lvl/day its kinda imposible to reach 50-60kk/hour even if u spend all ur money to make land.
there is nothing wrong u r a power lvler, i also play almost 10 days ago i m lvl 70 and i have 10kk/hour income, there is no mathhametical formula to gain more in 9-10 days.Last edited by utumno; 12-09-2009, 04:58 PM.
