I'm a hybrid player of monster slayer and pvp. I started out years back as a monster slayer and when the guild battles were added I decided to beef up my pvp stats as well. Right now I'm concentrating on boosting my defense to 725. In order to get the defense feat.

After that I was thinking of spreading my skill points in an even manner of attack and defense and stamina.

I've noticed it's taking me days to level up and I only get 5 skill points when I level up. I was wondering how I can get more skill points when I level up.

If you want to level faster, you could add to stamina for a while. If you want to be good at both pvp and monster hunting your going to have to try and decide the balance between the two that suits you, and which direction you want to go in first.

You could go straight for pumping atk/def for a while, which would make you much better in pvp as well as hitting/fortifying for more dmg on monsters, although your leveling speed will keep getting slower every level.

You could keep atk/def where it is and pump stamina to whatever level it is that you are aiming for, id say at least 500 if you want to really be effective with monsters. You wouldn't get any stronger in pvp and your BSI will get worse, but you will have much more stamina to spend on monsters/pvp and your leveling speed will remain pretty steady, instead of slowing.

Or you can choose the middle ground and add a certain amount of stamina, atk/def every level. You won't be leveling very fast, or very slow. You won't be horrible in pvp but you won't be great either. And you will be able to take out some decent monsters, but probably will have trouble with the bigger stuff for longer.

Eventually you will be able to do it all with a good balanced build, which route you take depends on what you want to be able to do proficiently in the mean time, on the road to your goal.
thank you for the advice so theirs no getting around being able to Level quickly while increasing my attacks huh? i will definitely look into upgrading my Stamina to atleast a 500 quota mark and then solely focus on attack till i hit a 800 mark then go on to defence since i know that its important to be able to fortify in a decent manner so il probably be aiming for no less then 500 defence stat im still a noob in my own way since i dont know much of how to get all the alchemy stuff or guild battles and now is that im joining the forums for more advice if you know any guilds out there i can join let me know

Just know that you cannot have both. Adding to one will inevitably slow down the other.

So you have to decide what you want more.

PvP-wise, you are very behind; MH wise you are faring quite well.

So, jack-of-all-trades, master of none; or specialise?

i know !! but thats the beauty in this game its all about balance and specialization i think ima go for an attack build in the future once i hit my 500 stamina mark i just dont know all abreviations yet for the tiers and all

        • "Charles". Level 144 Champion

          Energy---500
          Stamina--192
          Attack---328
          Defense--158
          Health----109

I have been trying to hit Serpents and Dragons and have been somewhat successful. I would really like to be a good Monster Hunter. Ancient Sea Serpent, on 10 Stamina hit I do 42k, 10 Energy defend I only do 15k. Kromash, Cronus and Ragnarok, Skare, and Genesis, I consistently hit for the 1 Million needed. Where do you guys and gals think I need to go? I have gotten to Champion just because wanting to get the 1000 Duels feat and that is basically it. Should I hold off on the 5000 Duels feat until I get to a satisfactory point in my development as a good Monster Hunter?

          Thanks

looks like a nice build you have developing.

you don't need me to tell you that monsters will always cause you problems, that you'll beat a lot of peeps around your level, quite a few above and most below or that most 1k+ will roflstomp you...

              Keep it up.

Push stamina to at least 500.
Then go att for a long time.
Your def is in a good place as far as covering your dmg when hunting.

                        stamina: 40

                        hp: 125
                        army: over 60

i quit questing when i found out that i need 90 energy is needed to do the quest a look into darkness to get the orb to summon mephestophilis..
is creating the map of atlantis important or vital to the game? if not, can i just ignore it?
as for my attack, i seem to do more damage then people over level 150 or 200, or possibly more. is there some sort of measure or chart that i can go by to tell what my level range is for the amount of damage i do? like for example, am i doing damage that "average" level 200 players are inflicting? i think that there is a possibility that i could potentially become the only player with the highest attack or does the most damage.

my current goal is to collect good items to help my invasions.
i currently maintain 30 valor knights with upkeep for my soldiers. as for my weapons, i would like my weakest weapon to be either the demonic sword or the avenger, depending on how much extra work i want to do. as for items, i currently maintain 30 commander's battle plate and i am hoping to get better items to eliminate this unneeded upkeep. as for my magic, my weakest is energy bolt, so this will require more work.

also, should i still get the blessings for energy, defense and health to get the divine items? because i tend to stay away from monsters with divine armor.
monsters of interest are skaar, the amethyst and ancient sea serpants, maybe genesis, dark legion, lotus, and cronus.

i would like feedback and to have my questions answered. thank you very much in advance.

but i am reaching this goal by monster hunting, since the monsters in my post have good loot that i need.
therefore, it would be better to increase attack to increase my damage per hit.
according to my calculations, if i put all skill points just from leveling up without counting daily blessings...
at level 200: more then 1,300 attack
at level 300: more then 1,800 attack
at level 400: more then 2,300 attack
at level 500: more then 2,800 attack
at level 600: more then 3,300 attack
at level 700: more then 3,800 attack
at level 800: more then 4,300 attack
at level 900: more then 4,800 attack
at level 1,000: more then 5,300 attack(at this point, i could possibly defeat medium tier monsters within 1 day or less by myself)
and etc......since i practically quit questing, then why would i need to put points into energy? when i started this game, i never intended to have a "balanced" character in the first place.

Good luck with that. What you're making is a PvP build not a monster hunter. As you raise higher in levels you'll need more experience to level. Your leveling will slow to a crawl and you will not level for days without paying for refills.
