Well, through facebook it refreshes entire page to enter the battle, a lil' bit annoying.

I got to 6000 in one day, so that was good, although you have to get to 100 points (10 points for win, 1 for loss) to gain a star, which only got me to Bronze III 3 stars. Seems like they slowed that down a lot. Having all of those chests to open is great because you can get to the 80,000 for a medal much faster now, so all of that is okay to me.

I did notice some glitching when 10x10 started. Mostly it was the spinning ball and some maddening resets back to a previous point in battle. That happened to me in previous seasons of colosseum.

My matchups for the most part seemed a little more balanced and fair than previously. That could be a coincidence.

I've never weighed in on this topic before, but honestly, it does seem like confuse is overpowering in colosseum where you only get 5 tokens at a time (and at minimum, confuse lasts 5 tokens). But the battles were all so short that there's no time really to be annoyed by that.

Confuse is still terrible and it's time consuming to waste a full battle just because mage classes can't do anything else but cast it.

At least when I get matched with high level big hitters, the battle is over fast and I can collect my 200 points and immediately start a new battle.

First reaction - will play some more today to see if it holds.

Mages are still overpowered
so far - more balance in battles from players in randoms
the 15 sec hold (set up) to start is OK, however, I would like a countdown timer showing rather than guessing when the 15 sec are up. This does give you a small chance at hitting the mages before they throw a confuse at you.

lot of time yet to work out the newer parts - realistically after the 2nd 3rd weeks when some of the big players move up in levels will show more reality of the battles. (whether the attempt at balance works)

day 2 -- 2PM CST (3rd hr of the colosseum) and the game went completely bonkers.... same time as a 10v10 battle time

I'm trying to play a week with it, and understand all of it, before I go postal. They changed a lot of things that probably didn't need to be changed. They didn't change some things that really needed to be changed. I like the 15 second wait, but confuse-happy mages are predictably pissed off about it.

At level 4.

Pet Skill:
+50 damage runes. When attacking, if the opponent has a Demon pet equipped or no pet equipped, increase 8% Final damage additionally.

So far, not a big fan. Don't think they will ever get this right.

So far I hate it. Even with the 15-second wait somehow most of my team gets eliminated in less than 10 seconds. Something needs to be done to make these battles more equitable. Tired of seeing all the level 4-5 k warriors pound away.

It would be cooler if they got rid of made teams and left only random teams.

Two positives for me:

1. I'm okay with the extra points through activity from the Battle Pass.
2. Having the 15sec timer is kind of nice, it informs a good amount of tactical decision. You can look at your team before dying and tell yourself, well, we'll die (or win / or go the full length)

The 15 second cool timeout is a positive. Yes, time to make tactical decisions and switch from defensive to active loadout... or pick out a corner to die in.

You can still get ambushed by a team of monsters, but that doesn't seem to happen as much. I've had streaks of as many as 7 victories in a row, and only one defeat streak that long. Plus always gaining as much as 3 colosseum points on a loss is helpful.

The Battle Pass system is complicated, but provides a good source of additional Honor Points, so the main complaint I have is on the pricing of a certain pet and his shards at 6 times the going rate of Oracle Pets. For that he should be pet-Layla, and from the description I think it's a stretch to put him on that level. There's no other off-Colo stuff in the Battle Pass but since there's a good variety of stuff to buy at the Colo shop, and you're getting enough points to buy something every 4 levels, I think that's okay.

The 30-per-day limit hasn't affected me at all. Since I missed day one, when they sprang it... with no warning... at bedtime, I've never reached zero.

I like the limited length so that it doesn't grind on forever, but the factional weeks is a bit strange. I also did the math wrong and thought I had 8 weeks, so I budgeted battle pass goals based on that, then found out I would come up short in 7 weeks. Back on track, but would have been a nasty surprise to not get the free egg because I counted wrong.

But no likey thinky stuff. Cuz I'm like bad at it now. So I just gotta get somebody to tell me wtf I need to do. Then get somebody else to make sure I do it. Yeah idk.



An increase in damage against Warriors with the Bull is freakin huge. Massive. And I'm only up to +8.25% so far. But it's the same boost against retired players as well, which really has been needed for YEARS! I mean, I personally have to hate it, as it means current players are more effective against people I've been too wistful to boot, but it's necessary for the game I guess. I'm still not ready to boot Bob or Scrotie.

I like the killing ppl part of Colo. Hate the times. Hate the time demands. But that's every season.
