  • [ ~Be Like Water~ Guild is recruiting! ]

As the latest CA changes occurred we needed to change our playing style and to adapt to the certain changes to achieve guilds goals and satisfy our members by offering them latest possibilities inside the game.
We, actually don't have any requirements, except the activity, but You might have some. So, I will try to introduce you inside the guilds business the best I can, so we could both (the guild & You) be satisfied at the same beginning of our adventure.

What the guild can offer to You?

The guild is active and very good organized in various aspects of the game, but the most focused on conquest lands, guild & festival battles.Other aspects might happen if majority of the guild vote for it,but you must be ready to fight guild/festival battles as the real life allows to you, to help with conquest monsters, to travel a lot from the land to the land and defend it once it goes out of protected mode.
So, benefits from all of this are:
    1. guild battles on cyclic times (11 am, 3am, 7pm —> all GMT/UTC time)
To get more specific information when it starts in your capital city follow the link, and scroll down until you find it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...k1oM3NhNlYxcHc
    2. Festival battles at 6pm GMT/UTC time

~Lots of guild coins & fun, chance to earn coins for special abilities, heroes, equipment and soldiers needed for your army and pleasant everyday playing.

    • At least 2 conquest lands to collect wood/iron resources and to have at least 20% chance that our members get power crystal everyday.
    • Possibility to earn conquest achievements by slaying monsters, or new possibility to earn more points for conquest path which unlocks more equipment, essences and skill points.

What You can offer to the guild?

    • Your presence in our fb group and groups chat: http://www.facebook.com/groups/belikewater/ (You're allowed to leave guilds chat but ask any officer or guild master to add you once you are ready in group conversation- chat so you could have more fun with us.)
    • Activity in guild and/or festival battles on everyday basis or whenever real life allows.
    • Activity on conquest monsters, defending the lands

What being inactive means and what will happen when you are inactive?

Being inactive means that you don't have monster nor enough battle points at the end of the month.
This is just a lookup on it:

    Battle points:
    0-300 inactive
    300-500 low activity
    500-1000 medium activity
    1000-1500 good activity
    1500+ excellent active

    Monster points: 0 - inactive
    1+ active
So, safe zone is at least 300 battle points and at least 1 monster point at the end of the month!
Having only monster points even a millions will provoke your exclusion from the guild!

    If you don't achieve this:

You will get email or better say private message from guild master. Try to answer on that message, the sooner the better! You do not have to make up reasons why you got stuck in inactivity, you don't need to lie, we understand everything and encourage thoughts that real life should be on 1st place. Anyway, ignoring that message or non-answering on it, will provoke your current exclusion from the guild, but good thing - not from the group. So, when you're ready to play the game again with us, you can always find us inside the group and re-join the guild with just one click.

So, to join guild Be Like Water and to start your adventure send requests here:

    Attention: Rules of the guild

    edit: [TEAMWORK SUGGESTIONS]

    - Do not bring any type of chaos or troublemaking behavior inside the guild, do not be rude or offensive nor to your guild-mates nor to your or our opponents in guild battle chat or anywhere on fb (groups, private messages, walls etc.) We all came in peace to have some fun, provocations or verbal fights are not something what we want to do.

    - Never be selfish in anything you do. It's ok if you summon some monster, but summoning one-after-another,and making it as "guild's priority monster" is somehow rude, and is treated as act of selfishness. Other members might want to be summoners, too. So, speak with us, check the group's MH Crew post & comments, and we will always work something up which will be the best for majority, not just for "myself".

    - If you're just a beginner, and you like our guild and people here, you believe that you'll stay with us for a long time, and fight guild battles, start with some "spell type classes", like cleric & mage. Once you get your guild achievements and grew stronger go in direction of "damage type classes", like warrior & rogue.

    - If you see that your guild is struggling in some festival or guild battle, it's always nice to spare at least two minutes and with any amount of damage to opponents help your guild-mates, even for a cause of total defeat, which might happen, but it's always better for the team-spirit that we care for those who are fighting the war. More people joins means that we care more one for another!

    - When you post Call To Arms link on your wall, make sure to say thank you to your friends, to your faithful clickers, and to return them a favor by visiting their wall and clicking on their links. They don't need to ask you nor tell you that they need return, anyway spare few minutes to check for CTA links their fb profile and to assist them back. Also, never ask your army members to return you a favor. We are teaching you to give, to spare, but not to sell your favor.

    - If you join someones monster, focus only on it. Do not be a "tagger"! "Taggers" are those who enter in someones monster battle and use valuable spot in not-doing-anything. If you joined someones fun, be a "funny-one", not a "tragic-one", use all of your resources to make it happen, to slay that monster.

Please, these "suggestions" do not exist to constrain nor hamper you as someone who seeks for fun and play the game, it's just here to guide you to do the right thing and work as a part of the team. Thank you

High Council of the guild ~Be Like Water~

    Important links:

Battle Times Document, cyclic battle times 3 battles per 48h: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...k1oM3NhNlYxcHc

Majority of the guild fights at 5 pm [GMT/UTC±00:00] because our festival battles are at 6 pm [GMT/UTC±00:00] So, evenings for Europeans/Africa, mornings, midday for Americans.
(This is a good battle time for majority of the guild)

    FB Group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/belikewater/
Attention: With your guild request send even a request to join the group. Without this page we will be just another small and unorganized guild. So the rule is to join the group and bookmark the link, or - the group will be located on the left side of your screen in between Groups section, so simply find it, point the mouse on the left close to the name of it and small "pencil" should show up, click on it, select edit and Add to favorites. Then it can be located, on the left side of the screen, beneath your picture, name, news feed, messages, photos and links, somewhere there in "Favorites" section!

    Link of the guild: http://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/...241_1341260634

How's & Why's should be directed inside the fb group or group's public chat.

Organization and Hierarchy of the guild

This picture explains a lot about organization and hierarchy of the guild.
Explanation for everything is beneath this picture!

New members - "newbies!" as the name says these are usually players who just joined the guild, no matter what's their level or power, or how much experience they earned through days, weeks and years of play. They always needs some time to adapt, and only that positive adaptation is a first and main step to become loyal members.
        Guild expects from "newbies":
        - to be everyday (or as the real life allows) visitor of our fb group.
        - to cooperate (this includes communication and answering on messages or tagged posts from our fb group) with guild officers or Master of the Guild in any request.
        - to have activity points at the end of the month both in monsters and guild battles.

        WARNING!!!
Failure to do this, will cause you to go a step backward - from a "newbie" to "kicked-player", without prior notice!
How's and Why's you can ask on group's chat, when you hear explanation you'll understand.

Loyal, "old"-members this means that you have already proved that you adapted to our style of play. You obey all rules of the guild, helping with clicks and communicate with us inside the group.
As much as You give yourself to the guild and team-spirit, it might EASILY happen that you get a promotion to be an officer of the guild.
Warning! Being a loyal member of the guild means that in case of your inactivity, you won't get booted from the guild, but Guild Master will contact you. So, lets sum it - one month of no-activity newbie gets kicked from the guild and the group without prior notice, one month of no-activity loyal member will be just asked what is happening, is he still playing the game or not, or he is busy or away from his computer. So, no-pressure with loyal members.

Guild Master is a link in between officers and loyal members of the guild. Any officer can become Master of the Guild if guild master wants to step-out or unable to work his job. After 9 months guild master's mandate is over. He can be re-elected. Guild Master is usually most respected officer or the officer which gained the most trust of previous Guild Master.

Officers are rulers of the guild. You won't get EVER kicked from the guild by Guild Master, but guild master will be "executor" of the will of all officers. So, always listen what your Guild Master have to say you in PM and be friendly with officers, they will decide about your future if you suddenly got stuck in time and innactivity.

As the guild grows it's possible to have 20 officers, all focused and specialized in one particular job, but some other time about it.

It's not a secret, we became too tired of "users" of our good will. We ARE still no-pressure guild, we don't ask for minimum required activity per month nor our players are obligated to join and fight my or anyone-else monsters. We found this to be the best for all members. So you can still hunt and summon whatever you wish but without making your summon as guild priority monster and involving other members into your hunt before you "consult" group's wall. If there is nothing active or "planned" you are free to do whatever you like.
Selfishness of few ruined, few times possibilities of entire guild. So, rules exist just for better coordination and communication inside the guild.

sure are alot of rules, I think just concentrating on no drama is vast enough, most guilds struggle non stop with that one.

Rules exist just like reminder for potential new players to present what we do, how we do it and to give them a hint on WHY?!
No, we don't have policemen who will look for any your mistake and yell about it nor bother you, read them, learn from that reading and find the answers on WHY.
No Drama is still our main course, these are just the winds which will move and keep us on that course!

We do believe that people make mistakes just because of lack of knowledge in game mechanics. We see that mistakes, but never punish anyone for making any. We encourage you to do the right thing, we tell you why, it's quite rational and logic reasons.
We haven't kicked anyone from the guild. And our members really admire our patience and tips how to improve their character, style of play and playing experience.
So, maybe I can't use the right words to persuade any new people to join, but the best might be to ask ANY regular member how good and pleasant is our guild for everyday playing.

Our motto is based on the sayings:

1# "Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way around or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves.
Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." Bruce Lee

2# ‎"So let the mind flow like water. Face life with a calm and quiet mind and everything in life will be calm and quiet." Thich Thien-An

To join our guild, follow this link and send request to join: http://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/...241_1341260634

Also, join our FB page (we would be one BIG NOTHING without it!), and "Follow" top two pinned posts GUILD/FESTIVAL Battles doc. & MH CREW doc. to get notification when someone posts: http://www.facebook.com/groups/belikewater/

I know this recruitment thread in theory is bigger than some novel book, but in reality, when you join the guild, visit our fb group, everything becomes easy and clear, and your adventure begins! Welcome to Be Like Water Guild!

We can accept 10 more people (50 max), we won't ask for any requirements.
You will be placed in North and West gates with us. For our new 2 gates (East and South) there is a lots of space (50 min. maybe even 60), but the best might be if someone wants to merge his into our guild. So we can accept guild of 50 active players. We can guarantee that nobody will be kicked and that we will work hard that your friends adapt in our guild, and to like being a part of our CA family.
Your Guild Master and officers will be promoted as officers of High Council of the guild
and after our guild master's mandate is over, your guild master (or You) can be elected as Master of the guild ~Be Like Water~.

So, if you're interested to join send request here: http://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/...241_1341260634

We usually have 2 slow-kill monsters per month, with no obligation that you MUST fight these, and other two weeks are usually "free-to-do-what-you-like-to-do!" Is it achievements hunt or PvP or anything you like,we don't ask it, but I think it's always a good idea that you know what we're all doing and when.
Also, we are getting many low-level player requests, and sometimes we wonder is someone teasing with us? Not even one finished quest, not even 1000 duel/invade battles won, also some picture on profile which "tells" us that you're not real person but someone's alt. With all respect for all low level players, we all were beginners sometimes, we will accept you in facebook group, you should add us, even if we denied your request to join the guild and after some observation time we will invite you to become honorable member of the guild. It's nothing unusual, it's standard procedure with many players. If you check the guild there are some low levels "who has been there and done that", and after some time they became rightful members of the guild.

So, send request to join fb group: http://www.facebook.com/groups/belikewater/

Send request to join the guild: http://apps.facebook.com/castle_age/...241_1341260634

There should be no problems to join our guild except if your statistics are little bit strange to us. If that happens, check your inbox, add officers of the guild as fb friends and send request to join the group. After some time, you'll see, and we'll see are we in love or not. It will also give you some time to read our files, check the group wall, shoot your questions or seek for previous asked questions and also get to know our style of play and people from the guild, just to be ready once you join.

We want More, More & More!

We are looking for new members to take free spots in our two towers to a max of 50 people.

So, atm 43 members, we are looking for 7 more for this recruitment round.

Anyone can join, so be free to send us request when it's really good opportunity to do so. Just click on the photo from my signature (that one beneath this post or check any previous post, there should be link), and Welcome!

Also, I want to present you one of creative ways of communication between management and all members of the guild, this is just one page, "print-screened". It's form type of page google+ docs, "drive" on network.
I wrote a nice explanation, but deleted everything, it could be too much, if it's not already, and I will answer you just on: Why we use this?

Because, we believe in creation, not destruction of opinions!
This wake even the modest or shy people who rarely express an opinion and move them in right direction of cooperation and construction of the guild, which is OURS, not "mine" guild.

Edit: We got some ideas and also found what are the expectations of our guild members. Thankfully, they want the same as we all - FUN! They are not downhearted by defeats, nor our failure to progress in festival battle ranks. They like harmony and easy-going-behavior of our team.

I sent you friend request. I will be honest with you. You don't have rl pic on your profile, even if your account was opened at 27th September 2011. Your activity on your timeline tells that you're not quite active player, even the more, you have more activity in some other games than in CA (your last CA activity was at 28th of November, 5 days ago. Your ingame statistics are bad-as-hell, beside your low-level. 247 defeats only 97 victories. Your fb name is Toon Town, which tells us that you are far away from a real person, and we suspect that you might be someone's alt. So, your request can't be accepted at this moment.
