Default Battle Page "Sleepers"
I have been doing a bit of battling lately, trying to rank up before I (finally) enter the "Gauntlet". I am L 285 so my battle list is comprised of L 280-299 ... but there are A LOT of L300+ folks hiding in there as well. Not really sure how they are doing this, but I found it interesting that our very own "Ginger the HUT" is masquerading as a L29x Prince (normally I only check if they bounce me; but in this case I recognized the name and checked first.

Are the devs ever going to get this fixed? Seems like some folks are enjoying the "free ride" collecting bounces from unsuspecting lower level folks (with only one exception of the dozen or so cases I've discovered, they have been HK (the exception was only a King).

Are these folks showing up on their proper list as well?

Perhaps nobody really cares ...

This glitch is at least 12-18 months old. Nothing Ginger or any player can do about it. Database is corrupted, though the devs say they fixed it last year

This annoyed every bit of me when I made my climb to Prince... I just vented obscenities to my guildies (not really), and kept pressing on. Never really understood why it's happening anyway

I have seen this at the lower levels as well when my gf started leveling her account. So it's not only the higher up players seeing this.

1. we can only pray that the devs will work on it ...
2. there are no free rides. Even if the player wants to rank up, it means they are (usually) lower rank than the target. the BP dropped from bounces is not that high
