Dear devs re arena

YES I KNOW CAPS IS SHOUTING.

When I spend tokens for arena refills and then due to whatever external circumstances outside of CA (call it having any sort of life at all) miss the collect window.... I'm NOT happy. Why is there a one hour window to collect? Do you REALLY think people have nothing better to do than monitor their CA **** ALL day for a month for some ****ty l00t that has no bearing on anything?? How ridiculous.

So... why the window to collect? Remove it. It's stupid. If I participate in a battle I want credit. You could have battles going all day and night without hour gaps in between if you'd just get rid of that stupid window.

oh- and PS your Arena implementation sucks mainly because of this. Whoever designs the arena.. or has final say on the design... they need to get fired or transferred awaaaay from CA.

If you don't like arena, i have a solution for you.

1. You get out of your chair
2. you go to the nearest door
3. You go outside
4. You start doing things in real life
5. smell the flowers and hot chocolate
6. profit from the money that you save from not refilling

so you can stick around to fight the battle but you're either too lazy or stupid to stay online for another 30 seconds or so & click the collect button? This is an old whine. Get over it. It's never gonna be changed, not in arenas, not in GBs. Live with it, like the rest of us do.

Or...do like myself and others have done, don't opt into Arena. I'm not a fan of the loot, bugs, exploits, etc from it either, so I didn't join.

If you don't consider the loot any good, what is your reason for doing Arena? The collection method has been this way for 2 Arenas prior to this one.

Then dont opt in. I agree the loot is abysmal. The windows are irritating (especially when the service in unavailable and you have tokens invested into a battle...) The mechanism of the battles is dull... The "best" reward is the general and the devs wont let us know what the special ability is...

Anyway - there are a multitude of threads already in here explaining what is wrong with this Arena.

Um, you do realize that there are 12 battles in a day and you need to start the next battle 1 hour after the first battle ends, which leaves 1 hour to collect. they can't stretch it any farther than they do, so there's no point asking them to.

Amazing how quickly some folks will jump on someone for complaining about something they agree with the complainer on, just because they feel the person's argument is vulnerable.

None of your $%$% business..but, I assure the self righteous board fanboys that don't like my post that not only is CA NOT the center of my universe, but also that I won't go broke or mentally insane because I spent tokens on arena battles I didn't collect on.

It's annoying- It's poor design- AND guess what..

THIS is the important thing so pay attention...


Pointing out things out that suck, AKA complaining- on message boards of products you have a vested interest in there being improvements to.......WORKS. So kindly shove it ___, ESPECIALLY if you agree with me in the first place.

Don't tell me to simply NOT DO the thing I'm complaining about. That's not the answer. That doesn't help anyone. Don't analyze my motivation. Don't attack me. If anyone here as an actual counter-point to my opinion that the current Arena collection window is nothing but a test of who has the most time to waste- make the point. Otherwise feel free to not take the time to respond.

I honestly couldn't care less if there were 1 battle a day. I really couldn't care less. The arena not something I enjoy all that much... but I do like to get credit when I took the time, especially when it was unpleasant to begin with.

What difference does it make to you? My question and complain is regarding the 1 hour window's existence. The fact that I spent tokens exacerbates my frustration and hammers the point that it's bad design but as to WHY I did it, maybe because I felt like it? Why do you ask? Do you have a problem with being over curious? Am I invalidated from complaining because my motives seem contradictory? Maybe I have OCD when it comes to competition and couldn't stop myself from hitting the refill button when I was behind in a battle.

Either way though the 1 hr collect window is frustrating which is the point.
