Any speed kill groups out there?

I'm having a hard time finding a group that wants to do speed kills for the larger bosses and monsters that take coordination to beat in 24 hours. It needs to be a group that has damage caps and limits on CTAs for X number of hours, since I'm a pvp build and it takes me some time to generate enough stamina.

Any ideas?

it's not really an organized FB group, but so far all speed kills seem to have worked just fine. i am currently on the alpha bahamut speed kill and it looks like this is going down well within time also.

the problem with speed kills will always be that you can't control what other players are doing. you can put a damage cap in place, and people will go over. you can request no CTA's, and people do them anyway.

the best way to get the medal is to have the FPs ready for the refills you need to do the required damage, and do your share within a short period of time, WITHOUT figuring in stamina recovery. speed kills usually won't last 24 hours, but usually actually only 12 hours or even less.

Thanks for the info and thread. I've been looking at Bartul's blog as well, but those get summoned too early in the morning for me and are usually full before I'm even awake I'm surprised the Alpha isn't full.

This was the main problem when I started the blog but by now people are respecting the rules, There were no CTAs today on the A. Bahamut so far and no one went over the original damage cap of 35M

When I started the blog I didn't even dream this many people will be interested, now on every monster we get more and more player and very few taggers

Either "Fury" or "LMS" = "League of monster slayers" both are great

For the big monsters you need FP man. There is no real way around it for builds like ours. With 200 stamina I'm not doing the big guys until I buy my $20/month and my next purchase is next month . I may be an SP fiend but I also like to minimize my spending for games.

Soon you'll NEED taggers to make sure the slots are all filled and prevent others from coming in so everyone can get their damage in lol

Think those groups would accept a hardcore pvp player with 120 stamina and very little energy for healing?

Yeah, I'm not even considering an attempt on A-bomb, Azriel, or even WotRP for at least a year. My current stamina goal is 1 stam every 2 days from praying plus half of all bonus skill points from new features. At that rate it'll probably take me a year to get to 250 stamina.

I don't mind buying FP for refills IF I have enough stamina to make it worthwhile. 120 (126 with minerva) stamina just isn't worth it right now...

yes, the A-bahamut goes extremely well as far as this is concerned. i'd say a good part of that is your good organization of the kills. i was more talking in general than about your A-B and i checked your previous monsters before i decided to join this one. for someone with my build it's quite a risk, i used 7 refills (6 STA, 1 E).
