Well I was just wondering he starts out almost 3x more than Seraphim Angel's and his stats are about the same.

So is he worth it to get for invasions or should I stick with Seraphim Angel?

You should stick with farming for units if its to fill out your army. tons of units better than the purchasable ones. I'd stick with filling up with Barbarians from War Rank since they are only ever slightly worse, and have zero upkeep.

Good advice, unless you got Azriel, in which case you would use AAs instead of the Barbarians.

Platinum Knights are marginally better. Remember, both attack and defense stats are used when attacking and defending. (i.e. 70% of def + 100% of atk = atk strength)

Seraphim Angels: 24 atk / 21 def = 38.7 atk strength and 37.8 def strength

Platinum Knights: 23 atk / 27 def = 41.9 atk strength and 43.1 def strength

Worth the crazy cost and upkeep for 3.2 atk and 5.3 def difference?

Like seraphim, I'll buy the PK that I have to for some purpose like questing. Otherwise, I'll stick to stockpiling AA to appease Mistress Azriel.

I might buy 1, just so it shows up in the keep. It is going to be ages till I am actually there, so I'm not all that concerned with needed them for quests just yet.
