Nope. The devs are a couple people named Tass Adun and Sarah Kay..they also enlisted another fella named Brian Matheson. ( I think that is his name)

Well I'm pretty sure they are somehow connected with Mafia Wars, as someone keeps stealing my gifts while in transit.

Personally, I blame the flying blue monkeys.

Zynga's medieval setting game is called "Dragon Wars". Castle Age has nothing to do with Zynga.

Thank GOD. If CA does ever get bought by Zynga, I may have to find another game to play.

What's the problem about Zinga?
I don't like Mafia Wars. And Castle Age is the only play that I play on facebook?
So what's the real problem?

The problem, as far as I'm concerned, is that they're greedy - and it shows in their games (the introduction of the cell phone/ITR/photo grind in NY, when at that time the only place you could get those was NY, and their drop rate was horrendous - followed by the 'tired of not getting cell phones? Buy them for GF points!' message...right, like you are not the ones controlling how difficult these are to get, as well as the ridiculous amount of them we need? Sure, pull the other one while you're at it, please...).

Their CEO even readily admitted to being greedy and inserting questionable offers into the game, just to get revenue.

They introduced a spyware-tracking style cookie into MW (sometime around last Oct/Nov) without telling any of the players that it was there, or what its purpose was.

And their customer service is *terrible*. Ever submitted a support ticket to them? If you can make it through the awful interface and actually get a support ticket submitted, you can count on at least four days before it'll even be acknowledged, and then probably two weeks before you actually get a real answer rather than a regurgitated FAQ section back.

I could go on, but that's probably enough to make the point...
