Stupid noob question about Ragnarok

Stupid noob question here, When fighting Ragnarok, what happens when his Glacial Armor reaches zero? is it a good thing or a bad thing?

its a good thing, you do more damage.

It is a very good thing, the lower his shield the more effective attacks will be. That is why the first thing one does when starting a new Ragnarok battle is to dispel his shield.

i hate that when his shield goes down to 0 it goes back up when u attack him/her/it. if it gets to 0 it should stay at 0

Seems like that would defeat some of the point of the battle.
