I have a few guesses.

Someone started making hacks for the game. Whoever that person is i suggest DEATH! I really really REALLY hate people who create programs that selfishly benefit that individual or worse... he shares it with other people destroying the game or influencing too much chaos in the game, destroying the game's integrity.

Castle Age developers are probably on a roll and are quite pleased with their game and the progress that they now experimenting with the game itself trying to "tweak" the game. Hey they're entitled. Its their game.

The REAL reason why the game's glitchy is NOT because of hamsters! No! Its a conspiracy to destroy these peace loving, nocturnal critters... the REAL perpetrators are creatures who've hated us humans and have been tested on games and various experimentations... they're GUINEA PIGS! They've successfully become mainstream and even had a movie come out! They're now setting their sights on text based games such as Mafia Wars and Castle Age it seems.

You take that back ZeoLedcross. The Guinea Pigs are working under my orders to exterminate the gremlins in the server room. If the gremlin's already inside of the power cord then lives will be sacrificed for the greater good.
