More iOS player need to come on to the forums and make their voice heard. Look at the disparity in length between the two overkill feedback topics. The FB topic is 120+ pages long. The iOS topic... 8.
iOS accounts are probably more health oriented for their level, and therefore more effected by the introduction of overkill. But from an objective standpoint, FB accounts seem much more concerned about the change while iOS accounts are largely silent. I found this game through the AppStore on my iPhone. I quickly realized how underpowered the iOS version was and made a FB account. My FB account is currently in an iOS guild along with my iOS account. But I'm probably the only person from my guild on the forum. If iOS accounts want parity in game content, they have to stand up for themselves and put their money behind their demands. The top iOS guilds have CCers on par with the biggest FB spenders. But many of them seem oblivious to how outclassed they are and are happy to spend obscene amounts of money on the limited content available to them. The iOS accounts that are concerned about what they're missing out on just petition customer support and have their iOS account transferred to FB. In the end it comes down to incentives. PhoenixAge opened a new, lucrative revenue source with CastleAge HD. They have to keep their older FB fan base engaged with new content and features. Seemingly with iOS, all they have to do is keep the lights on. When new features come out, I'm often the most engaged member of my guild and I try to lobby the iOS members to say or do something about the increasing power gap between the two versions of the game. The usual response is, "Yeah, that's really bad. I wish I was FB. I'm going to buy some more FP now." If iOS accounts want change, a significant portion of them are going to have to demand it, and stop spending money until they get it. |

It is clear that iOS and Facebook players are not playing the same game at this point. To continue to allow Facebook players to compete in the iOS realm with the advantages they have will ultimately be destructive to the longevity of the game on iOS. Constantly releasing new content to Facebook before iOS will garuntee that the imbalance persists indefinitely. Either separate iOS from Facebook or catch iOS content up to that of Facebook before releasing new content the Facebook.

I have posted a new thread, similarly arguing about the disparities between iOS and facebook, but instead of just arguing for facebook/iOS separation, I argue for some other solutions to the problem.
Please take a look at it everybody! Power in numbers. http://www.castleageforums.com/cforu...ad.php?t=65574 |

I am iOS. I'm all for overkill. 100%. I have a lot of health too. But I also have a BSI over 5. It was not easy to get this set up. But I played the game. And I'm against the separation of fb and iOS. It is taking time but iOS is getting the same stuff as fb. We might get it second but we get it in better form and we know what to do with it. The only thing left would be the festival and maybe the guild monsters. I think we also benefit from invading the crap out of our fb buddies. Lol.

Caecus you also kinda hit the nail square. FB came first. So yes they will get stuff first. I'm sure they had similar frustrations with the game. As for the ccers, they play how they want to. And they do reap the benefits of the new monsters. As for new features, it's going to take time. With a game (a free game mind you) that is being played world round 24/7 I think they have been doing pretty ok with updating new features. I been playing on iOS for nearly a year now. And on fb for a bit less than that.

I have a FB account and an IOS account. I have tried to add them both to my army but have been told I need to do it manually but haven't been able to get it to work. Is there and easy way to do this???

I'm hearing live with disparity and iOS will always be 3 revisions behind....perhaps it's time to encourage scathing reviews at the App Store this not separate and unequal stuff is a crock

I do at some level commend the effort being put into the essences upgrade for iOS ... Still so much beyond that .. Generals to level 15, true guild monsters, etc ......just don't see a trend for iOS to catch up if for every upgrade to iOS there is one for Facebook and that's just not right, not when there really is no longer much separation between the player groups
