    Default Stamina/Attack Balance

    This may have already been covered but i can't find it anywhere. When you level you either can spend your skill points on stamina or attack (i'm trying to improve the quantity of damage i do to cronus) What is the best balance to have in terms of attack vs stamina. Do you need more stamina so you can hit it more or more attack so you cause more damage per hit

    But also consider that for every attack you win more experience points, so having more stamina will give you more (even if it's little) experience.

    However, also consider that stamina takes time to fill. If you have too much stamina, you're going to be sitting there empty a lot of the time unless you have so much stamina that you keep leveling very quickly. So, you either want just barely enough stamina so you don't lose any and put everything else into attack or 100% stamina and 0 attack and defense so you can level very quickly and take advantage of the refills.

    In this case, I believe the balance is at the extremes, not in the middle.

    Edit: Oh, come ON. "LOTF with 200 stamina & 67 att" vs "Me with 65 stamina and 740 att" is such an utterly unfair comparison! 200 sta + 67 att = 467 stat points while 65 sta + 740 att = 870 stat points.

    Edit 2: Doing the math, for it to be a fair comparison, LOTF would have to have 401 stamina, which would result in 312000 dmg, assuming no refills. If we add in refills, LOTF seems likely to pull ahead due to increased experience.

    @Falco:
    Later on someone posted that even if LOTF had skill points = to Gkika that yes it would double the Initial burst dmg. However since hydra experience gives less returns than a dragon = less leveling. So without the leveling bursts are not had and normal regen attacks will leave the one with higher attack in the lead.

    In short the balance you want to keep depends on your style of play. If you want dramatically increase your damage on hydras then spill it all on attack.

    If you want to keep on tacking on the the levels the spill it all on stamina. However dragons are better leveling machines than hydras. So you have to ask yourself what is your goal? Help friends with hydra/get hydra drops/ or level.

    Without leveling, it's still 312000 dmg for LOTR and 315900 dmg for Glika. That's just 1.25% difference. Glika is only just barely in the lead per clip. If you add it up across a long enough period of time, the high-stamina person would level and make up for it. Over time, if both people start off with the same number of stat points, the high-stamina person will get more stat points faster than the high-attack person as well.

    Overall, they're rather equivalent. Attack isn't a clear winner at all, as Punkle and Punkle's link seemed to be suggesting.

    Cronus' experience return is too low to consider full stamina. If you want to be the best Cronus hunter there is, you should put just enough points in stamina to not waste any while you sleep (96 if you sleep 8 hours, 108 if you sleep 9 hours, 120 if you sleep 10 hours or want it to regenerate at the same rate as your energy). I suggest 120 stamina/energy and everything else into attack.

    67 attk + 200 stamina = 67 + (200 x 2) = 467 stat points

    65 stamina + 740 attk = (65 x 2) + 740 = 870 stat points

    I don't think this is a suitable comparison which it doesn't compare apple to apple.


    Let's see the real situation between 2 players:

    3 weeks --> lvl 60, Stamina 60, attk 190
    4 weeks --> lvl 70, Stamina 70, attk 230
    5 weeks --> lvl 75, Stamina 70, attk 255
    6 weeks --> lvl 80, Stamina 70, attk 280
    7 weeks --> lvl 85, Stamina 70, attk 290
    Player A end up with high battle won in duel, and kill a lot ppl
    My friend ended up pumping a lot in stamina after 2 months, due to no stamina too boring to play.

    2 weeks --> lvl 50, Stamina 80, attk 90
    3 weeks --> lvl 70, Stamina 100, attk 140
    4 weeks --> lvl 85, Stamina 120, attk 175
    5 weeks --> lvl 100, Stamina 130, attk 230
    6 weeks --> lvl 110, Stamina 140, attk 260
    7 weeks --> lvl 120, Stamina 150, attk 290
    Player B end up with high lvl, and a lot of hydra head (can tag 3 hydra at a time).
    My friend ended up with 40+ hydra head within 1 week.

    Yes they are near same for burst dmg but during normal regen periods when waiting for a level the attack player is going to deal way more damage
