.Car guys do this stuff too.

    My car is better.
    >Dude, I just beat your time.
Yeah, but my car is still better at racing.
    >Dude, You came in second.
Don't care. My car is still better. Bigger engine.
If dolphins are so smart, then how come they live in igloos?
Yes, we see it all the time.

When I lived in Portland OR there was a huge rivalry with Seattle about who got more rain.
For the record Portland had more days with rain, and Seattle had more inches of rain...

I'd say this is much more straightforward, I was clearly wrong. BATW has a 6 star Katherine, and he is still one of the greatest legends to ever play this game. I only have a 5 star Katherine and I'm both one of the squishiest players to ever play this game, and one of the dumbest. I even screwed up retiring.

In other news... I've changed my mind, there is nothing shameful in losing to a legend, I would like to change my vote.

It's quite possible for a car that is objectively better to lose in a race due to driver. Put me in the best f1 car, and I guarantee I'd lose by a laaaaaarge margin to any professional driver

This must be one of those strange American idioms or jokes that I do not understand. Or that I have been so out of touch and not know dolphins are now living in igloos, and not in the ocean.

With the money they save on car insurance since they switched to Geico, dolphins are living large these days.

This thread was decent until Murs came in with his chunky milk mentality.

Speaking of useless def alliances (which BATW doesn't have , it's really quite beyond what most people have I'd guess), here's what I keep up:

Dokkodo, I'm sure many people were missing the reference http://southpark.cc.com/clips/149634...imos-who-cares

Sometimes this is what the arguments feel like to me.

The fallacy of composition and the fallacy of division are always fun.

I don't think this is Sim's point though. The car example provided isn't "my car would have won with a better driver" it is of the unwillingness to accept defeat.

Sometimes it seems to be the nuance, other times goalposts are moved, etc.

We could go back to the original cause of turbulence within the thread: BATW's Kat is bigger than mine.

There are at least 100 reasons why BATW's is bigger than mine.

    1. BATW is a better player than I am.
    2. BATW is lower level than I am, so BATW's needs to be rated for level.
    3. BATW's has 6 stars.
    4. BATW's bounced me.
    5. BATW's ... etc. etc. etc.

There is only 1 reason mine is better: look at the picture.

I'm not getting into some drawn out argument about how Kat's abilities are as important as her stats. Kat's resistance clearly does more for my 13000 Defense than BATWs ? defense.

Next thing we'll hear about how BATW's doesn't have her equipment so there is no 10% bonus...

Your car wasn't faster, you just had better gas...
    I wasn't ready for you...

The only thing I know for sure, when someone says that my Katherine might be souped-up by being backed by a monster hunting general, I should just walk away.

    I suddenly remembered this.

...Dwarven Miner - I found a free chest roll for ye, but I was ambushed by a Dev in the mine.
Lil rascal made away with it...

Except you made it very clear you weren't comparing the alliance you had, but Katherine the general alone by herself. In that comparison you lose, since yours is 5* and Ardent 1's is 6*. Had you been comparing the alliance instead, then your stats are bigger. We cannot compare more than that since we don't know what generals Ardent 1 has behind his Katherine, so no way to make any sort of judgement call there about overall effectiveness.

It also didn't help that you used Katherine to attack. You can't resist somebody to death, dummy.
