About 75% of the time they did within 1M of the 2 epic target (3X.y M damage) and about 15M rest of the time.
hmmm... seems like it would make better sense to go for 1 epic then for better stamina usage. esp if there's a pool of rats in public...

    Thanks for the advice.

If your pvm alliance doesn't rely on monster hunter bonus (Barbarus or Caine), there seems to be no reason to go for 2 epics instead.

If you include Barbarus, Caine or Barbarus+Caine, you save a bit of stamina (you know, you only have to reach the threshold for 100% bonus once each 2 epics, not twice) and it makes less painful to go for 2 instead of 1.

With my build, the only difference is that I spend 60 (edit: 60 on average) more stamina going for 2 than 1+1. This is what I'll do when I start the hunt again for a second copy of each:
    - If I reach 15M and last hit yields essence, I stop there.
    - On any other case, I go for 2 epics.
i have barb in my monster alliance... which also consists of dolomar and MK.

i currently have 15/20 of all the marks and previously i always hit for 2 epics.. but i feel, (no data to present but just gut feel) that i am spending too much for the rats, ie i have to wait to get myself to at least 700+ stam to hit and/or refill when i have to... and im really amazed on your 60 average on stamina..

there's an influx of rats in public, most likely due to meteorite, and with 1 epic i was able to hit 5 bone, 2 rode, and 1 verm... if i would have aim for 2 epics i might end up 3 rats (or 4 rats depending on crit)

*after proofreading, i realized that 8rats (1epic) vs 4rats (2epic) yields the same drops..

hmm, i just spent 600 stam (reserved) + 2k stam (2refills) = and i was able to have 8 astd rats. less than 10 stam left.
but 2 days ago i was able to get to 2 epic drops for 700 stam use.

*cant believe i am thinking too much for these ugh*

Note that when I say my average damage for 60 stamina, I count monster damage bonus at 100% (that makes a basic 3.2M+-) and the crit rate (crit base bonus + 43,62% to deal 6.4 or 9.6M), averaging more than 5M, so not over 99% threshold for 2 epics but somehow close.
And we have the same alliance, so you should be around or better soon
