I have seen the runes in action from those people, which leads me to believe the numbers are true. There was a hack to SR where people could get a large volume of FPs at a great discount. I do not know whether that is still possible.
I don't think those stats on the leaderboard can be legitimate. I work very hard on my essence refill energy and stamina 10-12 times per level and I am nowhere close to those numbers.
