Solution: First Block, remove the app, then UnBlock the App and reinstall:

1- go to castle age application page: http://apps.new.facebook.com/castle_age/
2- block the application. it is just under the logo on the top left
3- go back to facebook feed. No castle age news there: normal
4- start castle age: it was back to normal at this point for me
5- return to the CA application page:http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=46755028429 and unblock CA

People have reported the problem going away after this.

When I start Castle Age, my second click on anything always results in the following popup message:

"Allowing Castle Age access will let it access your Profile information, photos, your friends' info and other content that it requires to work."

Obviously I already allowed Castle Age access to my profile, otherwhise I wouldn't be playing it. Anyhow, when I click "Allow" I get the following popup message:

"Transport error (#1001) while retrieving data from endpoint `/ajax/api/tos.php': A network error occurred. Check that you are connected to the internet."

Then the first box reappears. I have to refresh the page to close these boxes. Thus basically I have to refresh the page after every click, which is quite annoying.

I already tried deleting Castle Age from my applications, and adding it back, but it didn't help. And obviously I'm connected to the internet, otherwhise I couldn't use Facebook.

Any idea how to fix that?

Hi, recently i was faced with this problem whereby i was not able to ALLOW ACCESS to Castle age. When i pressed the ALLOW button, it will prompt out some errors: stating there is a problem, and ask to try again. Its been a few days already. was wondering if anyone faces the same problems?

Removing Castle Age did not do the trick for me. It just reappeared on the list.

BUT - I tried blocking the application for a couple of minutes. After that, everything seems to work fine now.

I can´t do anything in Castle Age
When I try to do anything, monster, stash money, invite friends, the note "ALLOW ACCESS" comes up. When I press ALLOW a new note comes up
"No Network

I press OK and ALLOW ACCESS comes back. I have to press CANCEL to make the note go away.
I have had this problem for 2 days. I´ve been waiting and hoping it would correcty itself. But now i give up.
There is nothing wrong with my computer, because my friend can play Castle age on her profile. When she plays everything is working.
Can anybody help me. Please

Then I entered again by assisting a friend from my homepage. The problem still there.

what I did and this worked for me.
Went to profile page to accept ca gifts, blocked the app there.
Then opened CA, and it worked fine, opened up no problems.
Now you won't have any gifts to accept,
so copy and paste into a new window - http://www.facebook.com/privacy/
click on applications
then scroll down to the last page, this is where you'll find castle age and click on remove.

This way ou will remove the block that you put on.
And now you can accept gifts and news feeds again.

I am in the same boat as you, I have been playing a week solid and now all of a sudden, when I click on castle age, I just get a blank screen. I have tried explorer and Firefox. I log into my wifes account and it works fine for her. My buddy is playing just fine and then he logs out and I log in and NOTHING, just a BLANK Screen.

I have tried the unblock and block method, I even went to the applications settings and removed the application from my face book, now I cant even get the ALLOW access screen to show up. NO matter where I go and select Castle Age, I just get a blank screen..

I did look at some of the warnings in my Firefox Developer Toolbar plugin and I get a lot of these:

If you are having problems in other apps too, then it is most likely something in your internet or browser settings that doesn't allow you access. It wouldn't have anything to do with CA or any of the applications. Check your cookies etc.

Tried the fix. Was able to block but now I can not get the general description page of Castle Age to unblock again. I can not log on anywere to Castle Age as its says I have restricted it. I was able to get into the game fine this morning. This evening I tried to get into the game and got a blank screen. I tried the block and unblock.... nothing. Did the cache clean, nothing. Then, tried to do the remove and reinstall.... only now I can't even get back to the app page to add the game back on.

Only having this problem with CA. All my other apps work fine.

This morning, i played the game just fine however, since 5 hours ago, the page is not loading properly. Most of the page is just black and no click buttons are visible. I can click on the the word "KEEP" and the others but they are not loading. I am using Google Chrome browser and I have tried reinstalling the browser but it still does not work. Other Facebook application games like Mafia Wars, Cafe World, Farmville are working just fine.

It can be unblocked.

On the RHS top corner, under the tab "account"-->privacy setting--->appliactions and websites--->Edit blocked applications---> select "castle age" and then click "Undo"

I've been struggling for hours with a glitch.:confused: Castle Age will load but without the Art. Just text and background fill and I am unable to load any other CA pages besides the Home page.

What I have done to resolve this:
1. Block/Unblock
2. Delete program from FB/Reinstall
3. Reinstalled Flash
4. Reinstalled Greasemonkey and AutoElite Army app

I use Firefox as my Browser and I loaded the standard issue Flash player, not the new "beta" testing version.

I'm thinking its some sort of Script error. But I don't really know.

I think I have a Script problem with CA. Castle Age loads but without the
image2.castleagegame.com art...just the text, bkgrnd shading and relevant photos that are of army teammates.

What I have done:
1. Block/Unblock Castle Age via FB
2. Uninstalled/Installed CA app via FB
3. Cleaned Cache, History, Cookies in both Firefox & IE7
4. Made sure all possible boxes were checked for showing Images.
5. Reinstalled Firefox, Flash and Java (JRE)
6. Deleted Greasemonkey and associated app AutoEliteGuard
7. Deleted all Firewall-providing apps
8. Contacted my ISP. They laughed.
7. Attempted to use the Error Console under Tools in Firefox.
Gibberish to me but 30 or so lines of code were highlighted.
8. Same problem in Firefox and Internet Explorer 7, no art; just text & bkgrnd
According to the info bar at bottom of screen, the art seems to be downloading, albeit very, very slowly, but then is not being displayed. In IE7 the placeholder boxes for an image are replaced eventually by the boxes with red X's.

This problem seems confined to Castle Age. Yahoo, Facebook
and other Apps seem to be functioning normally and all associated art pieces
(JPEGs, GIFs, etc) load properly. Nowhere do I notice that image2 art pieces
are "blocked" and a Search cannot find any cached art on my harddrive.

Please help me. I have spent many hours trying to resolve this issue and my
postings on the CA Forum/Technical Support have gone unanswered.
I also sent this email to the Devs directly, but no response.
This is my last try.

If you have any insight, please contact me via my email at corey.loprest@yahoo.com rather than via a posting here. After 2 days my motivation to resolve this problem is waning.

Try leaving the page up and waiting for ten or twenty minutes to rule out a slow connection, then refresh and wait a few more times to rule out connection problems.

Same problem here. Started yesterday. image2.castleage.com or something downstream from it has a problem. Don't give me the crap about a slow connection, I can see the rest of the internet just fine. I can watch moves from youtube just fine, so I think my connection speed is just fine.

I did a ping on image2.castleagegame.com with -l set at 1500 and it timed out. I did a ping without -l and it pinged just fine. I found that the maximum mtu was 1372 i.e. ping -f -l 1372 image2.castleage.com worked.

ping -f -l 1400 image2.castleage.com does not work. There is either a cisco router setting, or a M$ Server setting that allows packets to be broken up, and the default on it is different than the default on M$ XP, this is where the problem is coming form imho. Rather than me contacting my ISP and taking their abuse, why don't you check your server and see if there isn't something that can be done, like it was say yesterday.

When I try to open the app, click CTA's, reinforcements, ect, I get Invalid URL notice...please help...i don't know what to do. I was just changing my theme on Firefox while on castle age then, firefox asked me to restart for the change. I had like 15 stamina and i used it before I changed the theme, then after the restart, it gave me back my 15 stam. I thought it was a glitch, I was happy about that but my theme was ugly and I changed it again to something else. These time when I restarted it, still in castle age, I got the Invalid URL notice.....i don't know what to do...

So we get a News message to say that CA is stable. That to me implies that it's working again. However, all I get is a white screen.

Fix the problem, test the application, then make the "it's stable" announcement. If you can't fix it, replace the home screen of the application with a page explaining the problem and stop creating a situation that will only generate flak and abuse for the developers.

Communication isn't hard people, if you like you can pay me and I'll sort out your comms plan for you, then you can pay me some more and I'll make it a reality.

4- start castle age: it was back to normal at this point for me
5- return to the CA application page:http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=46755028429 and unblock CA

People have reported the problem going away after this.
