Level 5000 - Milestone or Finish Line??

Well here I am. 2 years playing and Level 5000. With the SP's I added to health, yes EVIL HEALTH! giving myself a nice round 1000. I like to play as a rogue, so suiciders should at least have a long fight of it! They do occasionally pick on my tower for the take down tower, leaving me there to be suicided on by already stunned opponents.

I don't wonder what comes next. I will no longer ever care if I level again for sure. With 5000 levels/2 yrs demi's/all quests completed, the SP's are all allocated making for obscene stats in at least 1 or 2 areas! LOL. I will instead look to fill in the blanks (yes there are some especially in T1/T2) Guild activities are a lot of fun and there are no shortage of monsters there for the occasional desire to hit something.

So for me I guess it's a little bit of both. A milestone in that I got to be the first person to acheive this level in the game, by whatever means...I played my heart out and a keyboard and mouse or 2. "A finish line", in that, I really wouldn't have needed to hit this particular level to feel "finished", but it does feel like as good a place as any to call it a finish. After all...the devs will soon release something new...I'll be letting the next generation of players enjoy those ;) Me, I'll be hanging out with all the OUTSTANDING friends I've made along the journey! My greatest rewards are truly there.

technically since you start at level 1, you only gone 4999 levels so she has to go to level 5001.. :p

Yes, I still have some blanks to fill. I still need a couple spiders, Vincent, Serene, Vermilion, the achievement for WoRP (due to acct transfer)....erm what else, there are a few things.

I want Pierce the Sky to be my lowest invade weapon, Amethyst Serpent to be bottom unit...stuffz like that :)

In the grand scheme of things...the whole game is meaningless, until we place VALUE on it. I value much more than the game itself, time spent with friends, what have you...however! Levels represent "experience". Experience can't be bought, it can merely be facilitated by $. What this level represents to me...is that I have seen more of the sights, clicked more of the buttons, engaged in more activity than all the other players.

We all play for different reasons...we are all limited in different ways. My definition of FUN is perhaps very different from yours :) Congrats on all your game achievements as well!

One thing I really wish...is that people would quit focusing on this. $$ spent did not click the buttons, enter the monsters, give me free levels or sp's... It did allow me to play "more monsters", more quests etc. ( I am not in the lead on quests by a long shot) Anyways...enough about $$. I can't keep apologizing for playing as I could...and did.

I have always had the greatest respect for players who play with or "without" FP's. There are some amazing "free" builds out here, and I never cease to be amazed at the variety. :)

A lot of people miss Frost Armor and Platinum Hands, too... More rather exclusive stuff would be Celesta's Devotion, the tavern quest items and Arielle's gear.
