Azriel legendary drop.

Ok so i was on a critical jahanna. A few hours left and we managed to kill her. Top damage done was 134,875,115. Now this damage you would of thought they would get a legendary?..well no she did not.

Is there a damage you can do for 100% drop chance? Seems silly doing that much damage without it guranteed

I havent, no. I don't usually do those higher ranked monsters anyway, i'm quite happy hitting cronus :) unless there is a sweet spot for specific heads, then i'd be very insterested.

The tl;dr version - there is no safe spot.

Azzy is one of those relatively rare monsters without one, even a horribly overpriced one. It's not all bad though - you are guaranteed either pendant or artifact if you do score.

If you know Jaha doesn't have leg's then you should've known this thread wouldn't be here if there's a 130mil+ dmg in matter. ( -_- )

I actually have no idea why i even mentioned jahanna, yes this was an azriel.

i actually got the summoner loot for the azzy on my tower 1 azzy and my tower 2 azzy first try on both of them for like 34-35 mill done. it took me about 3 tries on the regular azzy to get it... idk if there is a difference or not and im sure i just got lucky but idk

There is no guarantee. There is a chance one of your epic slots will be upgraded to a legendary loot, and more damage increases this chance, but no level of damage makes that chance 100%.

Not for Azriel, coz Azriel has no "rubbish" legendary drop

100% legendary drop applicable only for monster with "rubbish" legendary :rolleyes:

Azzies are horrible. I refuse to join them. There is no weapon support on them (Ok there is but it's horribly low!).

It's not that bad. After all weapons Azriel has like ~336 million HP. Ambrosia (to take a random divine monster) has like ~320 million HP after weapons. Of course players behave quite differently on both monsters.

Azriel's unreliable legendaries are a pain in the backyard, yes. I did read Tim's sheet about her multiple times and came to the conclusion 15-20m is a good approach, for a 20% chance on a legendary. Alpha Bahamut seems to be a better way to get the artifact, though...

Agreed on the weapons and the damage range. I tend to end up doing more just because of the circumstances I join (GC monster, helping out a friend, etc.), but certainly not stupid damage. Weapons can be needclickered, the lack of lock/ranger was far more problematic to me.

I was about to cry since I did 49 mil damage on my Azriel and got no legendary, but holy cow, someone had the same result with 134 mil... I'll just shut up now :D

But with 5m damage you have a 3% chance to get a legendary item! Now mind you if alot of people only do 5m damage she'll never drop and you'll only have a failed monster, but still if you are able to manage a kill think about it as you get an equal chance as the other guy to get the legendary drop! (I can't seem to do more then 20m damage though on any monster :()

I got incredibly lucky and got a Soulless Pendent the first time I killed Azzie, about 17 mil dmg. Now if only one could find a good group consistently that can actually bring her down. Can't tell you how many times she got down to >5% and failed.......

Azriel is something I never plan on running into again. She by far gets my vote for worst monster ever created for the game...

Let me get this straight, even though Legendary is never guaranteed, the chance to get one still increases with damage, right?
