General in guilde battle

Hi, when i attack in guilde battle some people have a general and other haven't (general : empty).

So 2 questions :

Is this normal ?
This change something to win or loose ?

I am going to guess you were fighting a low level/new player who hadn't equipped a general yet.

Not sure that is it. I fought a few people level 80-100 today that didn't have a general equipped during our GW. Didn't see any rhyme or reason they didn't have one yet I did.

I think that you only get a general in GBs if you actually enter the battle, since that's when your general is locked for the duration. Before then, it appears that you default to not having one 'equipped' in the battle, even if you definitely have one outside of battle (and it will affect your health if you have say, Raazel equipped).

and that affect your stat too i think :
i have att + def > 200 and aroldir equiped and i loose to a level 8 with empty general ...
is it possible that i fight with aroldir stat (15/13) and the empty general fight with the reel stat ?
