Awakening quests

I'm stuck in awakening. The quests won't progress any further towards completion. I've tried clicking on all of them but other than taking my energy and giving me experience, nothing happens. The quest doesn't provide the next step towards completion.

The other problem that I have is that a monster I was fighting (Belial, igaeeg:3) failed and I can't seem to get it to go away or leave from my monster list
