up to level 80 players are bracketed and it's impossible to hit anyone more than about 5 levels above or below you.
after level 80 you can hit and be hit by anyone.
why do you want to hit a level 17 anyway?

lmao, thanks ginger...ive been meaning to post my stats again to seek input, this seems as good a time as any
level 55
276 Max Energy -- Do more quests
44 Max Stamina -- Launch attacks! (cost 2)
16 Attack -- Offensive might
27 Defense -- Defense power
101 Max Health -- Withstand attacks
84 Army Size --
im trying to slow down the leveling for a little bit and starting to amend my plan to follow the 300 rule. im loving going after monsters, so have been adding to stamina.
two other questions i have been wondering. ill post here to see if i can find an answer, before i post elsewhere (so few people on the MS forum i feel weird posting so much lol)
Energy Potions: I found a Valerian Knights forum with a FAQ that listed a limit being 40. I have seven and have been saving up. Not sure when I will decide is best to use them, I'm guessing its best to drop one or two to level up, if close and i want to move up.
Re: energy potions, what are the best ways to get them? ive been doing a Malekus demiquest that drops them every so often. pretty much, kinda wasting some energy to get them, but like I said, I am trying to slow down on my levelling anyways, so not really an issue.
are there anyother good ways to get them? especially as drops?
Stamina Potions: In the LANDS section, for the Elvin Sanctum it says there is a random chance to receive a Stamina Potion. It says: BONUS! Chance for 10 point Stamina Potion each day
Come back each consecutive day to increase your chances.
Your chances are reset once you receive your prize.
How do I "come back"? Note: I do not own the land yet, so thios may be explained after I buy. Also, if I own 10+ lands, do I have a chance on EACH land?
What other known ways are there to get Stamina Potions? Those seem to be crucial in fighting monsters.
Re: both Energy and Stamina potions. Can I use one even if full in that category? So, if I have 300 Energy, can I use an energy potion and have 310?

Don't think there's been any research specifically on farming energy potions from monsters. Basically, they take up a demi slot just like FPs do, so the same ideas for farming serpents, dragons, and skaars for FP works for potions as well.
The are three demi quests which drop energy potions. All cost three energy and reward three experience.
As far as usage, that's up to you, of course, but yes, most people use the to finish a level up or to finish filling a cripple/deflect meter.

Stamina potions are also rewards from the demi-powers, but the Elven Sanctum is the most common source. To "come back" you just have to open the game or keep playing the game. (Same goes for rewards from the Dwarven Mine). It will show a message under the menu tabs.

You cannot exceed your maximum stamina/energy. It will just be wasted.
