So, I sent out the invites like I asked, and I see three of my friends have added the app per the request, but don't show up on my army list. What else do I need to do?
Sorry, I'm new and trying to figure this out. First app like this that i have played.
Also, I read in another thread some people have higher stamina. I am a level 10 and haven't had any increases. How do I increase stamina/energy?

Not sure about the friends issue.
Now, Stamina and Energy.
Every time you level you receive 5 skill points. Every time you complete a quest to 100% you receive 1 skill point. You can also receive skill points for achievement rewards. These skill points can be applied to energy, stamina, attack, defense, or health in your Keep. Each stat costs one skill point to increase by one except stamina which requires two.
Also, there are demi-blessings. Go to Oracle > Demi-Power. There are five options: one each for energy, stamina, attack, defense, and health. You may receive one stat point every 24 hours (or 48 hours in the case of stamina).

Also note that before level 10 some of your stats are assigned automatically on level up. After level 10 you will be able to choose where you want to put all of your stat points.

Thanks for all the help so far! I'm getting used to it little buy little. I think I assigned my SPs to categories that weren't essential but oh well. I'm lvl 20 now and learning as I go. Seem to be beating armies twice my size and a few levels higher, so must be doing something right. ;)

The only 'wrong' stat is Health. Attack, Defense, Energy, and Stamina are all useful stats for this version of the game. The amount o each just determines what kind of build you'll have later.

The "invite" thing should have worked, however MS can be a bit ornery sometimes. You may want to go to your "Army" tab and send them a gift -- when they accept it, hopefully they will show up in your army. You can also click on their Elite Guard link that seems to work 100% of the time. :)

the problem seems to be twofold. sometimes, the invite will reach them now and they accept it but it wasnt showing up on my army. turns out they had to actually go into their army page and "accept" me. i suspect this is a feature to stop bots from auto adding loads of accounts. i like that. and now that i know that, i can tell my friends to do that. and hopefully some will also play :)
the other ongoing issue (and now that I have been playing for a few days and been coming to the forum for a few days I realize this should be in tech support. sorry. if a mod wishes to move it, fbm.) is on three occassions i sent an invite and they didnt get it. knowing what i just said above, i told them to load the app and they did. then told them to go to army page and accept me but i didnt show up. one of them was my brother who logged in in front of me while visiting and i looked too and no link, so it wasnt just user error on there part.

No. Having 500 health would certainly be questionable though! :D
You'll probably get a bit of health either from doing demi-blessings to Aurora or from misclicking while applying skill points.
I think I have 107.

yeah, i assumed health was important in early levels to avoid being killed. didnt realize you can come back to life or whatever lol. this is the first game like this ive played since D&D back in junior high lol.
If they do end up putting in guilds and guild wars health will be more useful then
