Epic Quest problem.

So I was venturing around Kingdom of Mist epic quest, after sometime, I encountered a princess at last but I only have one option which is to loot the tent and let the princess be.

Although I have 500 army, and have lots of energy left. It doesn't let me choose other options. What gives?

You need an item you'll find earlier in the quest.
On each step, people you rescue or whatever character speak. Their words make sense, you would read them.

That's because you need 'Mystic Scrolls' if you want to save the princess. If I'm correct you can get them from battling rogues.
You need to kill them, they'll drop a Shadow Leaf. You can battle them again, but now you'll have an extra option: trading the Shadow Leaf for a Mystic Scroll.
Keep on doing that until you have enough scrolls to save all the princesses you want ;)

O-Oh, I see. I've done 15 rounds and I didn't have those options yet :<
And one more thing, can I try the epic quest again when I done all 25 rounds? I'm just very eager to get new general :D

You can try all you want, don't worry. Anyway, all achievements are not doable in one single attempt.
The last two quests are particularly painful as you need to collect items from one quest to use in the other and randomness of encounters make them...random :]

Wouter is 100% correct, just get as many scolls as possible, Once you have 10+ finish the quest, restart it and just rush to the end, You will have plenty of turns then to repeatedly get the princess. I had the same problem last night...maybe I should have put down the glass of wine, prob would have figured that out a lot earler...I'm a "clicker" not much of a "reader" :D

Once you're off rescuing princesses it doesn't take you back to scroll gathering.....so basically you are screwed until you go again. Expect to go 4 or 5 times to get all the stuff though anyway. All the drops are random and obviously the higher the quest, the lower the drops :)

so what do you do when you have plenty of leaves but it won't exchange them for scrolls? there isn't a scroll option, and this is getting annoying
