How Does Keira Work?

Can someone explain in simple terms how Keira works from start to finish? That would be from how you get Keira to start with, what the summoner gets, and any further progressions down the line. I recently summoned a Keira and read that only the summoner can get something (I haven't figured out what that is yet) when it's killed. Well, we killed mine, I was not the high damage inflicter, but I did get loot. Was I supposed to get something special that nobody else got? If so, what is it supposed to be and where do I find it. If someone could do a write up of the whole Keira process and post it on here that would be real helpful for first timers like myself.

1) A summoned Keira will take some 650'000 - 1'100'000 hit points/damage before she goes down.

2) To summon a Keira you need "Orb of Keira". You get that at a 50% drop rate from the Boss fight in Demon Realm.

3) When you have summoned Keira only 9 more people can join you to kill here. Total of 10 people, and you have 48 hours to bring here down.

4) She does not take that large damage as a dragon, and the attacks looks to give less XP and demi points on an average.

5) When she gets killed zero or more of the Keira epic items can drop:

They are:

6/2 Keira's Soul
6/3 Dreadnought Horns
3/7 The Dreadnought
7/4 Dreadnought Greatsword
8/6 Dreadnought's Plate
8/2 Demon Strength

Keira's Soul can only be dropped for the one that summoned Keira.
The 9 others can not get that item from this killing of this Keira.

They are needed to get for:

"Keira, the Dread Knight Hero to join your army"

What I am saying is: Only if YOU summoned Keira, YOU will have the chance to get her Soul to drop, but it could very well be that it does not drop.

no, boss fights can be done with any general. unfortunately you are just unlucky

They are the attack / defense values for each item.

Each of the "keira" items are actual weapons, and can be used when invading and dueling. You can eventually get them all, plus the soul, and construct the hero Keira (who I believe is a general with something like 20 atk and 23 defense)

How do you figure 3rd strongest?

I heard Meph is #1, I heard Orc King is killer, I have Sylvanus which is 20/20...I haven't read the guide as to other stats avail... Other than her killer knockers... what, in your opinion, makes her #3? Cuz Sylvanus at 20/20 = 40 total whereas Keira gives 38 total.

I would like to proudly announce that I summoned Keira to my side too. It's such a feeling of elation. Took me forever to get the Dreadnought Plate. I've never had 1 Dreadnought Plate drop in my 20ish Keira fights I've been party to. I had like 4 or 5 of all of the other pieces, but on my second time ever summoning Keira to fight, she dropped both the Dreadnought Plate AND Keira's Soul!

She's not as strong as my strongest Hero (Sylvanus), but she's got the best Defense among the Heroes.

She is third, since Mephistopheles is 24/20 and sylvanus is 20/20. I do wonder, which general to equip when logging out though, with the changes to att/def seeming to combine now. Is the 23 defense on her worth having her in the slot or is Mephistopheles the one to log out with?

I finally got a few of the orbs. Thought I would save a few and get some more stamina before I summoned her. Then I noticed that even though I should have 4 of them, I was down to just 1. They are listed as magic in your inventory? One time use items when you go to the battle screen and do battle with other players.

So if I have this right. You will use one each time you fight someone else.

Whether you actually get one of the special drops is random, it won't happen every time. That said you did get the Soul, so you got a special drop.

Would seem to be Mephistopheles is the one to logout with. 44 a&d total is the best of them.

You can always win more of the items, even if you use one each to summon her.
Also,you may have better items in individual slots, if you're a dueller. As for invasions, I don't think one item more or less makes a big difference.
However, having an extra general does (if your army is big enough to take them all in).

None of the above. It's purely random whether the summoner gets the soul or not. Could be the lowest damage dealer and not land the killing blow and still get the soul. All luck and nothing more.

Attacking and Damage:
Each successful attack on the monster requires 1 Stamina. If you miss or the monster evades your attack, no stamina will be taken.

The more total damage you do to the monster, the better chance you will have to get better rewards. Keep in mind the faster you kill the monster, the better chance you will have to get better rewards. Damage done depends on your attack skill. Damage taken depends on your defense skill.

NOTE: Nothing about having to get the killing blow!

Do you lose the Orb of Keira when you summon her? If so, can you do the quest more than once and get more than one Orb at a time or do you have to wait until you summon her and lose the first one before you can get it to drop again for your inventory?

Orb is unique, so you have to use it before you can do the quest to get another.

the dreadnought plate is the last piece I need to obtain to create keira.
I have been apart of killing 15 or so and summoning 4 or 5 of those myself.
I have yet to get it... any suggestions???

Im on my 33th Keira and still cant get the Dreadnought plate, its so difficult and boring, I have like 3 souls and lots of the other items, but never the soul and usually the #1, 2, or 3 of the top attackers, so I dont know if its a 5% chance or what

I don't know stats, but I have been beaten by a couple other 501's recently in Raid Invasions, who had Kiera. She trumped my Kaylen, who is fully leveled up and has 2 weapons, in addition to Excalibur, Sword of Redemption and Dragon Helm.

Hate to disappoint you laddy but, I have been killing Kiera my whole carreer..I am level 275 now and while I have her soul I do not have her Demon Strength...

So the items that drop are rather rare...and depend on Total damage done....
So kill her often and kill her lots...

Since this was bumped up today might as well make note that Keira is one of the stamina based health monsters with a life equivelent to ~2250 Stamina. Damage is dependent on the relative strengths of the attackers. If most of the attacks are made by people with relatively low attack (say 1000/ Power Attack) then she may only take ~450,000 damage. If the average attack is higher then the damage will be higher - if the 5 stamina PA averages 5,000 then she would take 2,250,000 damage.

With stamina based monsters, it is best to use a PA multiple as a goal rather than a damage goal. With 10 slots ~45 power hits (5 stamina) by each attacker will finish her. Criticals will reduce this number somewhat.

Rather than counting hits you can convert this into a damage equivelent by noting what you get for a noncritical nonassist Power attack (to be conservative round up to the next 100) and multiplying by your PA goal. Hit away until you reach that goal. Criticals and assists will reduce the hits needed.

Have to say that my experience is similar. Some posters seem to downplay Kiera's effectiveness in PvP, but my experience is opposite. Kiera *usually* wins in PvP against better Generals. In PvP, War and Arena she has become my second favorite besides her boytoy, Malekus.

- receive her soul when I did not call her
- receive epic loot when I did not hit 100k damage
- didn't receive epic loot when damage was over 100k

Wondering if the requirements for epic drops have changed and it is now even more random.

I got Keira and think that since I tried 10 times to no avail to get her soul, I would complete all questing to level 4 in the demon realm...maybe it made the difference, becasue on the 11th time (after completing all demon realm quests to level 4), I got Keira's soul so I could create her in alchemy.

And FYI... if you're looking for Keira be prepared to fight many many many many many Keiras! I got mine after fighting 23 Keiras and 13 Lotuses. And seriously... I'm lucky! There are many that has fought 50 Keiras (or more) and have not even completed the series to get her from Alchemy. And manarch up there... is an example

The hardest part to get are usually
- Keiras Soul
- Demon Strength
- Dreadnought Plate

PS: you can get Demon Strength from Lotus so that's why I add how many Lotus I fought.

Was worried I wouldn't get it and seems like it's luck o' the draw... know my brother has hit a ton of Keira's (never summoned yet) and he's got umpteen of her horns and shields... and that's it...

Yup you're lucky! But... don't count your eggs just yet, you still have Demon Strength to get, fortunately it's the "easiest" of the three because you can get it not only from Keira but also Lotus and the Siege.

Got the plate from my very FIRST Keira fight I joined... (only have mine and 2 others under my belt...)

The only things I lack to Alchemicalize her are Dreadnought Horns and Demon Strenght...

Yeah, Keira is one tough cookie. I'm planning just to save up some cash, buy a ton of favor points, and blow her away with Stamina refills. It'll be worth it if she drops the Demon Strength or Dreadnought Plate. I only need those two to complete her alchemy--first ever Keira I fought ((I summoned her, of course)) I got her soul. I have like 2-3 now, and 4-5 of ALL her other drops. I plan on just hitting her until I get the plate out of her and if I don't have the Demon Strength by then, I'll try to get it from Raids ((I still need to work toward my Chase, anyway)).

for the summoner if you need soul ONLY do 126-127K in damage.. Then stop and let the others kill her... I found this out by having a Kiera killing group and paying attention to the numbers for those that have gotten soul.

Keira can now equip demon strength for plus 2 attack to her..there is also a keiras signet. it doesnt show up in the loot for her fight. anyone know where to get it?

hey ..i just barely went above that 126k 127k damage as i made one extra attk...so i kept going to 136k +137k...how about that being the range plus an extra bonus.
