Well I don`t think that whatever monthly general would come with 8 items. For the slots you're right and probably he`s or her`s or maybe it's stats total will be something around 40 without item bonuses but still. I wonder if they ever release new items for some of the older generals like Barbarus, Lyra that were mentioned before and of course there`re plenty of good generals worth the 30 FP they cost. Any speculation about the next M.G.`s abilities or around which date he or she would be purchasable? ^_^

P.S - I actually hope that whatever the general is that he/she/it wouldn't be a War orientated one...

Well recently the devs have been releasing monthly generals twice a month. It has been nearly 2 weeks since Adrianna, so it's possible that in the next few days there may be a new one.

But they did just release Elin and make Darius easier to get. So they could justifiably wait another two weeks and take it back to a monthly schedule. There is no guarantee for this stuff.

However: I have 50 favor points and want another general. If it's gonna be another two weeks I'll have to resort to getting Dexter. No-one wants Dexter. Devs, don't force me to get Dexter.

There aren't currently any Monthly Generals with :

- Influence Quest and Sub-quest Faster
- Decrease Soldier/Item/Land Cost
- Decrease Damage Taken
- Convert Attack/Defense/Stamina/Energy
- Increase Army Limit
- Increase Drops for Quest/Extra Demi Points
- Increase Defense/Attacl when Attacked
- Increase Defense to Monsters

And who knows how many other possible abilities...

Im guessing they are gonna give us a general that works with the new reinforcements launch.

What i really wonder about is are they gearing up for a new chest full of nothing but weapons? We all know the Devs wanna make some money and this would be option number one to milk the cash cow.

All speculations on my part...but i feel it's coming!!!

You're right there's a large possibility that the new general will have something in common with the recently added reinforcements update. It's similar to what happened with War and Kataan/Adriana. But I don't know what could they come up with that would be attract players to buy it.

One or even more mystery chest would be awesome but if the devs balanced thing a little. For example - the gear should at least always give some bonus to any general but simply have that bonus or be at least low level war material and not ... total crap. Also some hereos seriously need a boost. I know that not all of them are supposed to be awesome or even good but at least let them be some king of decent and on some occasions useful:
Savannah - Rare General and ... Army Size +15 ? Why would anybody need here - Chase is way better and doesn't cost a FP - farming for him might actually give you some and even Artanis who is a common in the same chest gives you Army Limit +20 ... Not to mention that her ability is of no use when hit 500 Army Members (the 1 in 501 is actually yourself).
Another good example are Vorenus and Lothar well their stats are ok for an uncommon and a rare but still. Nowdays even Adriana with is a War General has the chance to easy get a +2.0% Chance for a Critical Hit. So when they created Barbarus they increased Orc Kings base stats were increased from 17 attack and 15 defense, to 19 attack and 19 defense so why don't they increase some of those heroes stats and/or abilities to be a little bit more usable. Not to mention Gallador who if he gained that +10 bonus for himeself in a War like Kataan could be at least of some kind of help like a 13/25 hero for defense when you like to hold your WP. And so on ....

I know that some of the older chest generals were montly once upon a time but I play castle age after they were put into chest and also I specificaly wrote currently for that issue ; )

I really want the increase quest completion rate one. I'd actually buy FP's if I couldn't earn them quick enough when it came out. And I don't buy FP's since it seems like a waste most times.

This will probably never happen or at least in the upcomming 3 to 6 months :D

But something similar to that would be awesome - like converting Health into Defense/Energy/Stamina?

Or a smaller version of Aurora/Azeron/Ambrosia :D
We already have Kaylen as a smaller version of Malekus after all ^_^
