Steve's detailed guide to posting pics in the forums

This info is for PC users... Mac users can modify if they wish and who knows if this guide is useful enough you can bookmark it for easy reference.

If you want to share a picture that is already in a file:

1. go to www.photobucket.com or similar site. photobucket is free, so are a few others.
2. upload picture to photobucket
3. click on the text box of the last box titled IMG Code
4. right click the highlighted text then click copy
5. return to caste age forum thread you are posting pic and right click then click paste.
6. done

If you want to say take a picture of your stat page here on castle age:

1. Hit Shift and Print Screen at the same time
2. Open MSPaint (found in your accessories)
3. click edit then click paste and your image will show up... if not you missed something.
4. click on Image button and there are two things I use most. Attributes is how you crop and the horizontal crop moves right to left while vertical moves down to up. This also means you may have to Flip the pic. click Flip then rotate by angle and click 180 degrees. now you can adjust the margins and then flip it back.
5. If you make a booboo click edit then click undo and your last action will be undone. If you seriously made a booboo...start over.
6. How to white out stuff you don't want ppl to see... on the left margin of MSPaint there is something between the star and the eye dropper... it is an eraser. just click it and then erase anything you don't want ppl to see.
7. Once you've got your pic looking the way you want it click file/save as and save it somewhere you will remember.
8. Now scroll back up and follow my directions for posting a pic here on the forums.

Thanks for posting this info for me! I had been trying to figure out how to put a pic up for quite some time. I followed your step-by-step and BOOM!(K I kinda sounded like Madden for a sec) I had a screenshot that I could use and modify!!! Awesome info not just for myself but anyone having a hard time.

I doubt posting stats can bring about anything good. Even erasing atk and def, I still know you have somewhere around 160ish points split between atk and def, (assuming you have quested beyond the first two lands, which I can deduce between your level and your 90 energy). Also, most people split their points between atk and defense 1/3 and 2/3 respectively, so you'd have around 55 atk and 105 def, also assuming you are level 46. Not that I would/could attack you, just stating that it's not generally smart to post any stats that someone could use to their own advantage.

Come n get me big guy. I'm only lvl 72/first knight. I really could care less that ppl know my stats cuz attacking me is part of the game. My att = 150'ish, My Def = 300'ish.

Even if you were correct in your assessment, how would you use this tidbit of information? Would you be able to find him on Castle Age and attack/duel him with the information obtained from a screen shot?
