Difference in "Best Units"??

OK so it looks like the top dog units are:

Phoenix 20att/16def $5mill/$5k upkeep
Archangel 25att/20def no idea yet
Knight Hero 22att/18def $6.3mill/$5k upkeep

The only difference I see so far is that Phoenix's don't rise in price. My knight heroes are currently 6.3 mill each and I can only buy 5 at a time then the price goes up again. I'm assuming Archangels work the same way, but, I'm not high enough to know the cost or the upkeep.

It almost seems a bargain to hire phoenix's for pure money sake... anyone have any insight or experience. I'm sure at higher levels every point counts and I'd hate to sell 500 phoenix's just to buy 500 archangels.

hate to disagree with you dobie, but it does matter.

however, money keep increasing as u keep playing, since ur income is cumulative. hence forth buying phoenix now is pretty much like how u bought tree ents in the beginning... you wdnt really mind the loss later....

so unless archangels are massively costly with huge upkeep I don't see why ppl don't just run around with 500 of them...
