Attack / Duel Buttons Missing or Loop back to itself

I have a list of targets that look something like this:

I save these when I scout someone out especially if I can earning battle points off them, as I am sure many others are doing.

When I click on the link I am taken to their scout page where I see the option to attack or Duel them.

**Two links, of which I would be glad to share with an ADMIN Are missing the attack and duel buttons**

Sometimes I get the statement

too weak or dead

sometimes I get NOTHING... the page just reloads... Is this normal?

other times I do get to fight them

If the buttons are missing, you're in each other's army. Maybe you added them to attack their dragon, or maybe you accepted a random friend invitation without knowing that it's the person on your list.

Too weak or dead means the obvious.

Both are normal. They're not bugs. That's just the way the game works.

The page reloading is more of a problem. Sometimes, it's a temporary problem, and it will work if you just wait a few minutes (or a few hours) and try again. Or, if it's very persistent (like, the URL has been sending you to your own keep even though you've been trying for two days), then it probably means your URL has become invalid. Maybe the person stopped playing Castle Age a long time ago and their Castle Age account finally got purged? Maybe the file where you're storing the URL got corrupt? Maybe something else?

i have somewhat of the same problem, except there is no invade or duel button at all. And that person isn't in my army

I would double check the army. They're probably in there and maybe they just changed their in-game name.

Worst case, clear out your browser's cache and shut it down. Restart it. If still no joy, switch to another browser (IE, FF, other).

There is another explanation -- they are using "weird" characters in their name. Switching to another browser usually fixes this. I believe IE has no problem while FF won't read them correctly.

I know it's late for posting, but I think someone should address this.

I get the same problem too. When the page loads,it doesn't load properly,right? There are white spaces all over the place. By right you are supposed to engage that person in battle. This not only happens in Battle, but also when I change generals, fight monsters, or even do quests. Usually I would just press the "back" button in my browser and go to the page again. There is no sure way to fix it(I hope the devs are working on that) Just click your link again. Keep trying till you successfully get to the Battle page,and then **** the "Invade/Duel again" button XD
