I'm wondering if the hordes of dragon slayer type players with low income, low att/def but leveling up really fast to gain stamina gonna end in tragedy.what will happen to them when they reach level 80 with just the rewards from dragon slaying. It is enough to protect them from getting killed easily?
Please give your comments.Thanks.

They will get slaughtered...you get killed even when doing it the right way at level 80. I actually like the idea that everyone is building stamina, gives me much nicer targets. I think people are blinded at the moment, and when the dragon craze wears off...they'll have a lot of stamina and NO ability to kill anyone with it.

most are doing it for the fun of it..i like the social part of group hunting too, but only there to explore the new feature and add a helm to my collection. Most people, especially duelers are going for that helm too. After that, the craze will fade and people will go back to mostly battling.

Dragons are a good way to level up quick though, so questers might still like them. And it all depends on how often you come to the game. If you are online a lot, you don't need huge amounts of stamina to be efficient.

If you are online a lot, you don't need huge amounts of stamina to be efficient. At dragon-slaying? What does "efficient" mean to you?

Assuming that one power hit averages 2500 dmg...

If a dragon dies before the 16 hr point (leaving 56:00 or more on the clock), it is not possible for anyone with only 5 stamina to have afflicted 100K dmg because they simply don't refill often enough.

A fully-charged person with 200 stamina can do 100K dmg within minutes.

If it's true that people need at least 100K dmg to get the alchemy drops, if it's true that killing a dragon faster results in better rewards, and if the number of dragons I'm seeing die before the 16 hr point is reasonably normal (all very big IFs), then 5 stamina just won't cut it if people want alchemy pieces.

well as you said, there are a lot of ifs. I was talking about intermediate amounts of stamina, like 40-60 tops, not lowly 5-10. More than that is excessive imo, except if you are already above level 150, or you really don't care if you get pounded by everyone. Of course, like you mentioned, high stamina is very helpful in dragon slaying, but once a few weeks pass and the craze goes down, you ll still need to be able to defend yourself, cause unilike dragons, opponents can kill you.
Im level 174, most of the "dangerous" opponents are my friends and yet i still need to invest in def/att to beat 2-3 of them that can get me. I don't think that's the case for lower levels..most people have dozens opponents attacking constantly

Keep in mind, there are 2 sides to this. It all depends on where your priority lies, some want to do more dmg, some want to level up and quest, some want battle wins.

I honestly don't worry about new player and how they level up. I don't mean that to be harsh. Each "generation" of players comes in at a time when a particular focus determines how we play the game.

Some players built for energy and missions until the Battle rank system came in and then they were at a disadvantage to those who build attack and defense. Now experience, favor pts, etc. are going to those that build stamina. It all evens out in the end and gives us all worthy opponents.

Any advantage or disadvantage is temporary and fleeting. The only real advantage comes from contiuing to play the game!

I will add that the only time that I have been badly chained attacked in the past week was last Friday night when the Dragons were all wonky.

People let all that pent up stamina out on the battle pages like I haven't seen in a while.
