At one point I was upto "Elite Solider," now I'm down to "Soldier 2 Rank." Is this supposed to happen. Why am I losing Rank? Help please.

I don't know if they have changed the rankings or not. I don't meet many soldiers at my levels. You can fall to a lower level if you lose too many battles. You must keep your battle points higher than the minimum for each rank to keep getting the bonus' at that rank.

check your battle rating.

well that's just because you keep on beaten in battle, every 3 ranks (rank 1,4,7 dst)there is a check point, if you are an elite solider (rank 3) battle more till you are a squire (rank 4) even your battle points decreased, i read in faq that your rank won't decrease even it bwas beaten lower than requirements for it

Yep, you can fall in ranks, but you'll never fall down a tier level

And it appears to me that when you're at the lowest rank in a tier, you also can't lose battle points below the threshold for that tier. This happened to me at LtCdr, and now I'm "coasting" at the 22,500 BP floor for LtGen, where no matter how much they hit me, I lose 0 battle points.
