I started playing Castle Age about a month ago. After one week I started joining groups that do mass adds. Now three weeks later I have about 1200 in my CA army, and my Facebook friends list is over 2000. It has gotten to the point where I spend at least two hours everyday sorting through friends/gifts requests (I play/involved in about 12 Facebook games) and can't seem to be able to go 10-15 minutes where someone is IMing me to be added. I have email notification on my cellphone for FB and have to constantly clear out my inbox just so I don't miss important emails. Managing my FB friends list is becoming increasingly more difficult. I don't know if there is anyway to completely stop it, at least not without shutting down my account, but if I could slow it down so I have more time to enjoy my gaming experience. If there is anyone who can help me I'd really appreciate it.

Take your name out of the mass add topic :) that'll help. If you remember where you posted.

as Caitir said , remove tour post. If it was the mass add list, go delete your own old post and then go to the last page, copy the list of emails, remove yours and repost the list,so that new people will not include it in the next posts.
You could also try to set a filter for your inbox that is sent to your phone. For ex if subject contains "add me" OR "join me" move to folder JUNK, and so on

Thank you Caitir and Lena for your advice. I did what you both suggested. Hopefully in the next day or two things will be better and I'll be able to enjoy more game time.
