So, it's been some time and although Lupine is still doing quite strong on the charts, there is still some new music to discuss.

As much as I'd like to skip over SNSD, I really can't because they're SNSD and this is a K-pop discussion. They have recently released their new song "Run Devil Run" sporting a new 'bad girl' image. I'm not convinced SNSD can really pull that kind of image off, especially with Kara, T-ara, 2NE1, and the other various groups who sport the image.

Now for a song that has been stuck in my head since I listened to it. Epik High has released a new album, with the song "Run" recently climbing the charts. The entire album is really good, setting a really 'chill' mood. Run is a deep song about the struggles and rejection you can face when life suddenly changes. I really enjoyed both the song and the music video.

For whatever reason the forum admins don't seem to agree that a K-Pop subforum is necessary. I know, I know, the big-wigs just don't understand the us little people. Anyway, until we finalize our plans to rebel we'll just have to settle for discussing K-pop in one little thread.

Anyway, to get things started, I have been listening to this song a lot lately.
This is Lupin by Kara. As you of course well know, Kara has done quite well over the past year with their hit songs such as "Honey" and "Wanna."

I say, thee, Bah.
If you're gonna listen to silly catchy pop tunes, listen to some *really* silly and catchy pop tunes.

And the little girl robot-dances better than some peops on the reality tv shows.

Wanna is pretty good, saw a clip of it with Mr.
Reminds me of Patrice Rushen disco music, which I thought was a good thing.
Rather watch Kara than (Kitty)cat Dolls or Spice Girls.

The marshmellow suit looks sooooo unweildy.
I'll resist the urge to spear it with a tree branch and cook it over a campfire.

Now, the front-girl of IU, holy cats she's ridiculously cute. OK, ya got me there.

K-Pop is light fluffy pop songs originating in Korea
J-Pop is light fluffy pop songs originating in Japan
To the average American metalhead, there's not a dime's worth difference.
To a Korean or Japanese fan, there's a universe of difference.

I just got an image of Revenge of the Nerds when they were doing that competition where they chug beer then pedal a tricycle through a course with that music in the background. lol
