This one was probably answered somewhere, but there's so many threads that I didn't know if there was one. Can you only battle other Friends' dragon if you summoned a dragon yourself? Thanks.

Good question, I summoned one before I helped kill one.

BUT I know you can help kill one even if yours doesn't exist (be that it was summoned and killed, or summoned and still alive)

hope that helps

You can attack any of your friends dragons regardless of if you've summoned one yourself. They do have to be your active friend though, if you see a link to someone else's friend that's not yours, you'll get a no monster to fight screen.

You can only battle friend's dragons. I do believe that also applies to those who are in your army but no longer your friend. And also with those who are your friends but no longer in your army.

I do believe that also applies to those who are in your army but no longer your friend.I'm not so sure about that. Certainly, you can't see the Call to Arms issued by someone who in your army who is no longer your friend, so it would be somewhat unlikely for someone to find out about the existence of any dragons summoned by non-friend army members. However, it also doesn't seem likely that Castle Age will prevent people from attacking a non-friend army member's dragon if they know how to find it.

Scenario: Amy, Brian, and Curtis did the mass-add thing, they all friended each other, and are in each other's army. Then, Brian randomly declares war on Amy over in Mafia Wars (because mafia types do such things), so Amy unfriends Brian, but they still stay in each other's Castle Age army because they have so many army members that they have no idea who's in their army. Curtis doesn't play Mafia Wars, so he is still friends and army members with both, and now Brian summons a dragon. Curtis sends out a Call to Arms for Brian's dragon, which Amy can see. Amy now knows where Brian's dragon is, even though she's no longer his friend. Will Amy be able to attack it? Inquiring minds want to know!

(My guess is yes, she can probably still attack the dragon of a non-friend army member. But, I wouldn't know for sure.)

I'm having trouble helping friends fight their dragons. One of my best friends sent a Call To Arms, and when I click on the link to help him, it says "You cannot join an epic battle with someone outside your army. To join in the adventure, try to summon an epic monster!" He IS definitely in my army, as well as my facebook friends list.

I go to his Castle Age profile, and click the MONSTER link in the tabs, and it says: "
Ron does not have a monster to battle. To battle a monster you can:

1) Collect all neccessary alchemy ingredients to summon a monster.
Click this icon help:
or
2) Help your allies defeat a monster that had already been
summoned! Look for this icon in your army member's Keeps.
Or keep a lookout for your allies' 'Call to Arms' from your
Facebook News Feed.

HE DOES HAVE A MONSTER TO FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You cannot fight fight dragons of friends who aren't in your army.

And you'd be right. I've definitely attacked dragons summoned by army members that are no longer FB friends. Browsing my Army page and looking at profiles is how that is done, boring but possible to find dragons that way.

I've been looking through the posts but there are so many ... don't know if this has been asked before. If so, sorry.

Can you only battle one dragon at a time?

I'm asking because I answered a call to arms to help fight a dragon. I'm frustrated because the person who asked for help isn't fighting. It seems that those who answered the call are fighting. Plus, the dragon's barely been damaged and there is only 30 hours remaining. Anyway, I'm getting frustrated, I mean why should I help kill a dragon if the one who called for help isn't doing anything?

Anyway, when I go to answer other calls for help ... calls that are only minutes old, I'm told they don't have a dragon to fight, etc. I've checked and these people aren't just on my friends list but also in my army. So why can't I fight their dragon? Is it because I've commited to help fight this other dragon?

1) you can battle many at a time. there is no restriction

2) your friends make calls to arms for another friend's dragon, that is not in your army. only mutual friends will answer those calls. You can find many dedicated dragon slayers in the groups created for this reason.Go to Groups section here in the forum and check them out

OK What I need to find out is if there is anything that can aide me in seeing if members of my group are summoning dragons without Admin's knowledge. I know there is, but how can I find out for sure. I am one of the Admin officers for a dragon slaying group....

would not call that a crime..some members of a group are less active and don't post every day..those groups are supposed to help, not be vindictive against those who don't share..In any case, if your group has some sort of rule for this, only way to do this is to manually check the keep of each and every member of your group..or create some kind of snitch thread, that people in your group will turn in any violators..

im pretty sure you got better things to do though. its not worth it. If you really have to check people, you could then be more selective on who you accepted to the group.. keep it closed and controllable
